Very cosy café! I was impressed by the food. I ordered a müsli and the pancakes, they both tasted awesome. Especially the pancakes. I also took with me a nüssecke, a nut and chocolate corner.

I might be biased here but when there are so many vegan options I just order a lot. The tofu scrambled eggs were the best ive ever had and the avocado toast was delicious. The croissant was very "buttery", you couldn't even tell it was vegan. I was so impressed that we decided to take one of the many options of vegan cake home.

Read moreThe scrambled Tofu was a bit too dry and salty for my liking. The Avocado Toast looked fancy but had a little too much balsamic for my taste. The best part of the breakfast was the pancakes. They were incredibly fluffy and filling.
The cake selection was very big and they all looked quite good. I gotta come back to try some.
Breakfast is ok, cake selection is king.

Very nice place and people and a good variety of yummy vegan meals. They also make some excellent vegan sweets, particularly would recommend the carrot cake, one of the best in the city easily.

Unser Lieblingsplätzchen in München mit viel Kuchenauswahl, leckeren Gerichten, Tagesspecials, guten selbst vorbereiteten (nicht aus der zuckrigen Tüte) Latte, und der selbstgemachte Hibiskus-Ingwer-Trunk erst!!! Ein gutes Plätzchen für Vegane, Vegetarier und die die-es-noch-nicht-sind. Die Essensqualität ist konstant hoch und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt fast immer! Das Personal ist immer nett und zuvorkommend! Die Isarwelle ist einfach nur genial!

We love this little deli in this very comfy neighborhood! Food tastes always fresh and yummie - tastes like cooked with love. Classics and daily dishes to choose from - many vegan options!! Many vegan cakes / desserts as well. Staff is always friendly.

I really want to love this place becusse so many others do, but their vegan options are a bit disappointing, and I feel like they are something I could make myself at home. That being said, I always want to support veg friendly places, especially since Giesing is behind the rest of Munich as far as number of all vegan/vegetarian places.

Therefore going back to three stars, will update as soon as I visited Deli Kitchen.

Not vegan anymore.
Not clearly marked what is vegan and what is not.
Still keep the name "vegan" Deli...
I think that doesn't make sense, therefore I'll go there again as soon as they figure that out.

I went there a few times for lunch.
It is a small place approx 12 seats inside and 6 outside.
I try to arrive at 13.45 earliest because otherwise it is very crowded.
They serve very delicious food!
I very much like how they handle the food. How they combine different ingredients and spices. They do not try to mimic meat or other animal products (I say this without any judgement, because I do sometimes like fake meat).
There is a no waste policy as far as i know, meaning the vegetables that where not used in the main dish will be part of the dip the following day.
They will post a picture of the menu of the day on facebook, which is very handy.
They serve unusual cake combinations like sweet potato-cashew for example, and they taste wonderful.
They serve fresh juices and smoothies.
And also have a little selection of "superfoods" (from chia seeds to chocolate and bread) for sale.
As far as I know everything is organic.
They are very, very nice! Any questions I had were answered with a smile.
If you like you can order tap water (not that common in Germany).
You can easily get there it's quite close to U Bahn Königsplatz and Main Station.
Highly recommended!

I used to love this place for lunch, it was my true happy place. Unfortunately the owner changed and now they offer vegetarian cuisine with vegan options but still keep the name “Vegan Deli” which is quite confusing!
