The welcome was warm and friendly, and the manager explained how he was developing a vegan approach to his business.
The brioches are delicious, just like at the Archibald bakery in Paris, and I picked up a few during my stay in Montpellier.
Beware of opening hours, as the two places complement each other in terms of product availability.
In short, a place to find vegan brioches and breads in Montpellier by a sourdough artisan.

Je viens de découvrir Daveloza grâce à Happycow, quel plaisir ! Le pain est excellent et la brioche vegan nature topissime. Filante, moelleuse, pas trop grasse en bouche, juste ce qu'il faut avec un goût unique d'une brioche cuite dans une boulangerie. Le prix est un peu élevé (peut-être dû à l'huile d'olive ?) mais c'est un plaisir ocasionnel à ne pas rater.

Le pain est vraiment bon, au levain, avec des ingrédients quasiment 100% bio mais alors, mention spéciale pour la brioche végane qui est excellente!

La boulangerie est très belle, de plus ils utilisent des ingrédients bio et locaux pour la majorité de leurs produits.

Best vegan brioche ever! - Edit
This wonderful organic bakery, which opened in December 2021, makes an amazing vegan brioche. My non-vegan (French) friends and family even say it's the best brioche they have ever tasted! There is also some sort of vegan pastry roll (not tasted yet) and most of the - delicious - natural bread is vegan (and without any additives), too. We go here every day when in Montpellier. The owner is very nice, is open to suggestions and organises regular tango and salsa evenings in the bakery as well.
