While not the delicious soft-serve they seem to have a line down the block for, they have an option for non-dairy! Their vegan ice cream is not made in house and looks like it would rotate. I had the Earl grey biscoff flavour and it was just okay, not super flavourful on either side but had a rich creamy base.

Dairy Bar always has a vegan flavor available. They now have ice cream from Churned in Dartmouth.

Last year, Dairy Bar started bringing in Cashew Bros ice cream for their vegan option and it's been an amazingly delicious partnership! 🤝
Read moreThe vegan ice cream rotates, and sometimes they have two options rather than just one. As of this past weekend, the options were Matcha (highly recommend you get it with some strawberry sauce, which is also vegan!) and Black Sesame (in their vegan sundae option, with sesame cookies crumbled into it and on top).
2025 Edit: They are now using Churned as their vegan ice cream supplier, but it's just as delicious! Same story as above, though, rotating flavours, two options usually, and sometimes a vegan sundae.

Ice cream! - Edit
I love Dairy Bar! Yummy ice creams and sorbets! They're ight by the public gardens so you have a nice park to eat your ice cream in. (Note: Last time I went, only one of two vegan flavours was available.) They've got lots of coffee options with vegan milks available.
Read moreDairy Bar only serves their ice cream in cups, so you're going to be making some waste with the cups (and plastic spoons if you don't have your own spoon).
Staff are friendly and helpful. But there are only a couple of people working at any given time so the line can get long.
There are few options in terms of flavours, usually 2 soft-serve ice creams (not vegan) and 1 or 2 vegan options. Check ahead on their socials to see what the flavours are if you're picky.

The only flavor of vegan sorbet they have is cherry lemon, so if you don't like that flavor don't bother.
