Like aeroplane food - Edit
Lots of clearly labelled vegan options, which was good. Unfortunately that’s where the good things stopped. The food was really bad, almost like aeroplane food before we were even on the plane. It had clearly been sitting out for a while before being microwaved. €15 for some stuffed vegetables and potatoes. Neither of us could finish the food and we are not fussy people. Ultimately I’d only go here if I was absolutely starving before a flight and it was the only option. Edible but not enjoyable.

So many clearly labelled options for vegans. These included: falafel wrap, vegan cesar, mushroom pie, beans, green beans, roasted potatoes, potato salad. Quite expensive (but typical for airport)

I was surprised to find so many vegan options in Chania airport and this outlet had a good selection of hot and cold dishes. We were there late at night so they were no longer serving hot dishes but they had a fair few cold ones.
Read moreAs you’d expect in an airport prices were very high and we ended up paying €22 for a Vegan Caesar and 2 Mushroom Pies. My wife had the Vegan Caesar and enjoyed it. I also enjoyed the flavour of my Mushroom Pies (they were more like sausage rolls than pies) although they were quite chewy and average. Definitely not worth nearly €5 each but a decent bet if you find yourself in the airport wanting a bite to eat!

Cons: Expensive, Average food
