A Little secret on the main street of Hue - Edit
A very nice little spot serving meat and vegetarian/vegan specialities of Hue and Vietnam. We tried a few dishes and they were really good tasting and good looking (as the tradition of Hue food requires). They also gifted us with a dessert. In the end we paid something like 7 euros for 2 entries, 1 main course and 2 drinks: extremely cheap considering the high quality! The only thing: they did not accept credit card payment.

Ordered the vegetarian pho, bbq vermicelli bowl (or something like that…), fresh vege spring rolls, and a black coffee. Partner said the black coffee was really nice. Same goes for all three dishes. When ordering we just asked for the vegetarian pho/vermicelli bowls as that’s what it was called on the menu (they’re all vegan anyway) but they gave us free desserts at the end and we didn’t have any because they were non-vegan flans 😭😭😭😭😭 we felt sooo bad because they were being really nice but just make sure you specify vegan when ordering vegetarian dishes so you don’t have the same happen to you!!!

Quick, friendly service. The fried rice with vegetables was tasty and a great portion size for the price (45k). I also sampled the sauce for the chicken yellow curry, would recommend getting the veggie option as it was very tasty.

Was next to our homestay but I think it's worth to make your way through town to the Cozy Restaurant. Very taste and flavourful food! A lot if options, too.

The waitress said that the vegetarian dishes from the list are indeed vegan😊 The food was really good quality and tasty! Our waitress was super nice, spoke very good English and was very kind to explain us how to eat the dishes we chose😄 what is more the prices are very reasonable!
Read morePho vegetarian - it is a bit different style. It comes with pieces of pineapple and tomato, so it is sweeter version of Pho I had until now in Vietnam.
