Casual vegan food restaurant behind the Country Life health food shop, alley off Old Square, just south of Astronomical Clock. Restaurant is buffet style and offers fast food items including greens, salads, juices, hot main dishes, veggie burgers, and desserts. Choose what you want and pay for food by weight. Large space inside with many natural wooden tables for seating, or sit outside in the courtyard. June 2016 reported vegan. Open Mon-Thu 10:30-18:00, Fri 10:30-17:00.

I'm sure there's tastier options to be found. Perhaps I'm just not used to the flavours here, but food was super bland and warm (rather than hot or cold). We left much of our food uneaten.

This was such a good find. The restaurant is self serve buffet style with a massive selection of hot and cold options. The plates are weighed at the end according to how much you load onto them. Very reasonably priced and great if you’re feeling hungry. Cold options included a large range of salad items, olives, some fake meats and bread. Couple of soup options. Also some pre-made sandwiches if you’re in a hurry. Hot options included 2 different risottos, vegetable and potato bake, lentils, rice, cous cous and garlic spinach. There were also some desserts although a couple of these had non vegan chocolate in them but they were clearly labelled. The restaurant has a really nice chilled vibe, lots of seating space, and a wholefoods shop next door.

The restaurant is a nice place with good atmosphere. The food was average it is a place I would recomend for lunch but I wouldn't go for dinner. It terms of price it is good value for money. I didnt eat much and what I got I didnt enjoy.

This food reminded me of the kind of stuff my mom makes, but vegan. Nothing super fresh or healthy, but warm, filling and yummy. The tempeh wrapped in pastry dough was our fave. Lots of potatoes and such, too. Plus if you visit during happy hour (15:00-17:00) it's only 135 crowns for just about all you can load on a plate (up to 1000 grams). It was enough for two people!

The food here is priced pretty cheap, especially if you arrive during the happy hour. They have a wide selection of dishes and sides to choose from, a couple of sauces too. The food was ok though a bit bland.

Country life has become one of my favourite places for lunch! The food is cheap, fresh and delicious - just excellent value, which I find surprising as the restaurant is located in a notoriously touristy part of the old town. The buffet is pay by weight, but you'll get a full plate for about 150 CZK. Works for health-conscious vegans (beautiful, versatile salad buffet) as well as for people who appreciate rich, yummy, satisfying food that keeps you feeling full for a long time. The staff is pretty friendly and there's always been place to sit.
