Great Pasty! - Edit
We loved it here. Wonderful vegan options with rotating flavors! Highly recommend (especially if going with carnivores) - my entire family loved this place! Great fries too!

Nice British Staple - Edit
I really liked the atmosphere here. The food was really good.
Read moreI tried a bit of the Guinness (vegan) but ordered the Cubano (vegan).
I’d definitely recommend going traditional and getting the Guinness.
The Cubano was good, just not what I was looking for in a pasty.

Best Cornish Location - Edit
The food is great at every location (lots of vegan options) but this location has the best ambience and you never know who you're gonna bump into here.

good food and ample choices - Edit
I had a salad with olives and it was quite good. The dressing had a lot of vinegar and was eye-watering but not untasty. There were a lot of vegan choices. It was more of a bar atmosphere, complete with slightly sticky tabletops. The waiter seemed pretty drunk but got the food out to us fast. I would go again if I were ever around a branch.

Lot of options but lacking flavor - Edit
Really great vegan and vegetarian options.
Read moreUnfortunately the food and sauces didn't have a lot of flavor. Service was a bit slow, but not too bad. I would come back and try their soups and other pasties.

Loved the Guinness Stew Pasty - Edit
We were very pleased to find this place as it's uncommon to find vegan pasties anywhere. We got carryout in these covidy times and really enjoyed the Guinness stew pasty, which had a crust with enough integrity to hold the filling together while being tender to the bite. The online ordering system is helpful because you can see what menu items are available before you leave home.
Read moreWe look forward to trying some of the other vegan varieties and side dishes in the future, but the pasties are on the expensive side ($17.09 after tax and tip for the one we had).

I wish they had more vegan options. But the ones they do have are always good. Cornish is a great place to have dinner and a beer.

Love me some pasties! - Edit
This is one of the main places we go in the area, right up there with Green. They have gotten so much more consistent about having multiple vegan options, and their vegetarian options are plentiful. Grab a pasty and a beer and you’re doing ok!

Much better than anticipated - Edit
I was happy to see they had a full vegetarian section and at least 3 vegan offerings.
Read moreI had a vegan Cuban jackfruit pasty and my companion had the pot pie.
Thought it'd be heavy but it really wasn't. The crust was flaky and light and $1 fresh lemonade was a treat.
It must be hopping at night as the place is HUGE and has numerous beers on tap.
Plus you can sit in old church pews. How cool is that?

Amazing vegan options - Edit
I created an account to review this place. Stopped in while on a trip to Phoenix. It’s a chill pub vibe with three floors and three bars. They serve a lot (only?) pastries, and they always have four vegan options on the menu every day. (Their vegetarian options were extensive, including a Reuben that had me salivating.) I got the BBQ pulled pork pastry, which had onions and pickles and a delicious BBQ sauce, and I highly recommend. I agree with the other reviewer that it’s a sin that HappyCow doesn’t let you give five stars to a restaurant that has carnivore options. This place was amazing and if I’m ever back in Phoenix it will be the top of my list.

5 STARS! - Edit
Happy Cow won't let me put 5 stars simply because there are meat options at this restaurant. But it deserves 5 stars. Happy Cow, please consider changing that policy. Why would the food and service be less simply because there are options for carnivores as well? Rediculous. This is America and mainstream places will go out of business if they don't offer meat. Gah. Anyhoo- this 5 STAR restaurant has a huge section for vegetarians/vegans, and they use Korn fake meat which is delicious. You can't even tell you're eating meat-free and their concoctions are creative and incredible. Definitely comfort food, but [censored] delicious!
