Making Bridge Rd cool again - Edit
It's so good to see new vegan restaurants popping up in Richmond - Cookatoo has only been open a few months but after discovering it a few weeks ago it's now a favourite for whenever I'm in the area. They have some great soups and I had the tuna poke bowl dish last time, which was very filling and full of flavour. The owners are total gems too. Go check this place out!

The lunchtime rice deal was very good value, we chose four dishes to accompany the rice, heaps of food for $17 and beautifully presented. The Penang Curry was lovely. I wanted to try the Thai Green Curry but it had all gone, so when the fresh batch was ready they brought some over for us to try. Ultra friendly thoughtful owners. Ideal place for a quick casual lunch, super fast service.

Wonderful, friendly vegan restaurant with delicious dishes. We had the Chive Cakes & Papaya Spring Rolls for entree and both were so tasty. Served with special sauces. For main course I had the Chickpea Massaman Curry with rice and Hubby had the Gyoza Ramen. All were tasty, delicious and well presented. Will definitely be back for more!

Always happy to support a new business and I hope this little cafe does well as it’s a wonderful little find! All the menu items looked great and we chose way too much food. Ramen is fresh and tasty with excellent add ons. The owners are lovely and enthusiastic. Lovely crockery! Several tables available inside which was great considering the weather on the day we visited! The buffet wasn’t available but also looked great value.

This is my new favourite place for Vegan lunch in Richmond. The food is amazing, the people running the shop are very friendly and the chef is Vegan, so no trust issues like other restaurants with ‘Vegan Options’ in the area.

Greeted by friendly staff. Very informative on all options. The chef even came out to chat. Comfortable seating. Food was absolutely packed with flavour. Tried Penang with lentil, massaman with chickpea and Mapo tofu. Even got to sample the tom yum. Walked away feeling fresh. Highly recommend. Will definitely be returning to this one. Fast, friendly, affordable and delicious. A very happy vegan.
