I would give it 1 star if I could - Edit
Me and GC originally walked to the soho branch for lunch, it's apparently closed :/. We walked from there to the Mayfair branch in the foodhall. The area is a fancy idea and had a lot of different shops.
Read moreI got the week special BBQ short rib tacos and GC got the cheezeburger burrito with guacamole added.
I think the bbq tacos were the worst thing I've ever eaten, I took one bite and struggled to not run to a bathroom.
I am glad for the free cold water refills as it helped settle my stomach. I ended up swapping with GC as thankfully I could stomach the burrito, it still wasn't nice but I could eat it.
The price wasn't bad, £25 with free water refills. But I would never eat this again even for free, the quality has seriously gone downhill from the previous club mexicana we are at.
Pros: Free cold water refills
Cons: The taste of the BBq short rib tacos, The burrito was bad just not as bad as the tacos

Not great - Edit
We ate in their Shoreditch branch a few years ago, and absolutely loved it, so I was excited to go here for lunch today.
Read moreI ordered the cheezeburger burrito with guacamole, and Purp got the BBQ short rib tacos.
I tried one of the tacos, and thought it was okay. Nothing amazing, but edible. I then tried the cheezeburger burrito and I hated it. I couldn't eat it, there was something about the taste of it that just wasn't agreeing with me, which isn't something that happens frequently. Thankfully Purp preferred the burrito to the tacos so they were happy to swap.
The prices weren't awful, £25 for everything (and they have free unlimited tap water).
The menu is much smaller than it was in Shoreditch, and much less varied. I wouldn't eat from here again.
Pros: Okay prices, Beautiful building, Friendly staff
Cons: Didn't like the food, Not much variety on the menu

Great nachos - Edit
The "sustainable food community" inside an old church of which this is part can be very crowded and you may have to scramble for a place to sit.

Delicioso! - Edit
Delicious food. Cool atmosphere—bunch of little eateries inside an old church. Roof top deck. This was the only all vegan place there. Doesn’t say Vegan anywhere, but it is!

Burrilianto - Edit
Had a couple of not so great experiences at other venues but am happy to report the burritos are on top form here. Short rib will always be my go to, sauces were great and portion size filling.

Good - Edit
It was a kind of typical chain restaurant in the middle of a big hall. It was not that comfortable but great for a quick snack. I hat the Cheeseburger Burrito and it was not but, but I hoped for more Cheeseburger taste. All in all quite good experience.

Tasty food - Edit
I’m giving a 5 as it’s a fully vegan place with great options and the staff are friendly, the food itself was tasty but to be honest I wasn’t very full afterwards and thought it was pricy for what I got - £27 for 4 small tacos and a side order of fries. I do acknowledge that I’m in London though so maybe that’s standard! I would love to go back, but would probably opt for something more substantial for the same price next time. The location was kind of difficult to find but the person on the phone was super helpful

Food and Location 5/5 - Edit
A food mall located in an old church. Felt quite surreal to have such a wonderful lunch here.
Read moreAs always, club mexicana serves the best tacos this side of the Atlantic.
The menu seemed a bit smaller than at the other locations.

Amazing Vegan Mexican Food - Edit
Absolutely love this place; incredible food and service - would recommend booking inside as it’s less noisy than outside in the food court!

Club Mexicana - Edit
Finally, a restaurant worth going to in Mercato Mayfair! It’s tricky to find, but rest assured, it’s upstairs on the west side of the building. The cheezeburger taco is my favorite—not exactly what I’m used to in the Americas, but delicious nonetheless. Weekends can be extremely busy at Mercato Mayfair.
