The menu includes two vegan banh mi sandwiches (mushroom or eggplant) and two vegan pho noodle salads, which are clearly marked on the menu as vegan. Has oat milk for coffee. The fact that you can’t rate a restaurant five stars because it’s not full vegan. I’m a vegan and I think yall are whack

Rude, mediocre, and sweaty? - Edit
I will not be returning to Cicada. I went for dinner and was told my party and I could wait in the “heated tea house” while we waited for a table on a night with temps below 0. This was a shed with a single space heater. I was told quite rudely by the person at the register it was impossible to accommodate my dietary restrictions (I’m gf), even though the chef said it was actually was fine. The toilet of the restaurant bathrooms and the windows were dripping with condensation, which was really gross.

Delightful Ban Mi - Edit
Nice little spot with a good vibe and cool atmosphere inside and out. I enjoyed the eggplant Ban Mi per the staffs recommendation. It was well done. The bread was crunchy and light. The eggplant was smoky and silky. The pickled veg was crunchy and tangy. The cilantro was fresh and fragrant. All very simple ingredients, but really well done. I sat outside in the back which is quite the sanctuary. Staff were all nice. I would definitely come back and try the other options.

Wonderful café - Edit
Delicious banh mi and delicious house made saké! The vibe in the restaurant is fantastic and the outdoor seating is beautiful. There aren’t many vegan options, but the ones they have are very good and clearly marked on the menu. Highly recommend for a relaxing afternoon!
