Convenient location & great food - Edit
I visited Chun Su Vegetarian Restaurant and Tea House (椿素西式素食·茶) last Sunday, and it was a delightful surprise.
Read moreNear the bustling Dongmen shopping district, this cozy restaurant offers a relaxing atmosphere with both floor and chair seating options. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, guiding us through the ordering process on WeChat.
We were particularly impressed by the mushroom dishes. Their mushroom rice with crispy veg meat floss was a standout – rich in flavor and delicately prepared. The mushroom essence beautifully infused the rice, and the crispy topping added a wonderful textural contrast. We also enjoyed the wild mushroom spaghetti with veg sausage chops, tom yum soup and crispy salted tofu with chili powder.
For four dishes and enough food for three people, the total came to 170 RMB, which we felt was very reasonable.
Overall, Chun Su offers a fantastic vegetarian dining experience in a convenient location.
I'll definitely be back soon.
