I had the pleasure to eat at Chimy's in the evening: the all you can eat buffet was simply delicious, lots of variety, everything cooked fresh, all the dishes except two were vegan, and the service was very friendly. I loved it, and I most certainly am going back soon!

What a fantastic find! We drove all the way to Zurich to try their food and were astound by the quality and taste of the food - especially for the price!
Read moreWe got to the restaurant before they opened and asked if we could sit inside while we wait for the dinner service to start (it was freezing outside) and they sat us down right away, took our drink orders and even let us start having the dinner buffet before the opening time of 6pm.
In addition to the mouthwatering vegan buffet, the thoughtful staff and the amazing price (especially for Zurich!) I was also impressed by how clean the restaurant was and how much effort they put it to help protect themselves and their clients from Covid.
The tables were properly deprecated to keep us safe, everyone had to wear a mask while standing and at the buffet, but more importantly they asked their guests to wear protective gloves they provided when grabbing food at the buffet and they made sure to remind everyone to wear a mask when getting food (most places just assume guests will and don't enforce it).
We felt safe, welcomed and full with delicious food!
This place is a MUST-TRY!

Best place for a vegan asian buffet in Zürich - Edit
If you love vegan asian food, visit this place. You can eat "all you can eat" from the buffet for around CHF 30 (which is a great deal for Zürich). I am usually there for lunch. You can fill a box from the buffet for Take Away for a lunch price. Best place to go for vegan asian food.

Reasonably Priced Almost Entirely Vegan Buffet - Edit
Chimy's has an almost entirely vegan all you can eat buffet. As mentioned, the only non-vegan item when I was there were cheese filled momos (I asked to confirm this), but there were vegan momos available. There were a wide variety of different dishes, ranging from vegan sushi (pretty basic veggies rolls), to Indian dahl, sweet and sour eggplant, momos, Chinese style noodles and veggies, etc. It would have been nice to have more dishes with protein, especially some tofu dishes (there was a chickpea/kidney bean curry and the dahl, but that was it), but compared to other vegetarian places in Zurich, this was quite reasonably priced and nice that it's all you can eat. The space is not fancy, but is fine, with drinks including wine/beer for purchase.

The dinner buffet is on the expensive side (26 CHF) but honestly worth it. All of the dishes were vegan except one cheese bread. They also had lychee, my favorite Asian fruit. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend!

I enjoyed the food so much at Chimy's that I went there two nights in a row. If I was still in Zurich I would eat there again tonight. The buffet was mainly vegan with some dumpling like items labeled as containing cheese. It wasn't a huge spread but everything was very tasty and satisfying. The Rendang with pineapple instead of beef was especially good, as was the Papaya Salad.

Cozy place in Langstrasse area north of the railway tracks. Very wide vegan selection at the “all you can eat”-buffet. Different salads and Asian dishes like curry’s are on offer for a fair price. If you eat on site around noon, you pay 24.- including one drink. Take away box is 14.50. In the evening, it’s a little more expensive. Staff is very friendly. I’d say this is the best vegan restaurant in town. I guess I can save a lot of time because I don’t have to cook at home anymore.

They offer a buffet, the food on the buffet is freshly prepared, nicely presented and very tasty, almost everything on the buffet is vegan (only exception: momos with cheese), you can find sushi, springrolls and momos on the buffet as well as salads (such as green Papaya salad etc) and delicious warm dishes, I will definitely come back and my non-vegan friends really liked it, too. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

But missing food like: stir fry, pad thai , or chinese . Surprisingly small space, but we had no problem with it. everything was super good:)

We went several times at lunch and dinner. Central place which offers menu a la carte and buffet. Service is still not the best (it depends from the people: some are really friendly - some are very shy). You will enjoy and not starve. Everything is homemade with some interesting variations.
