Amazing vegan buffet :) - Edit
We visited Zürich for a day trip and chose to come here because of the reasonable price and the option for a buffet. Everything tasted very delicious and we got to eat our stomachs full. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was not far away from the center. We had never encountered a vegan Asian buffet so finding this one was a real gem!

Chimy's offers a la carte dining and a buffet, I had the latter, which offers plenty of choice at a very good price. However, we were the first guests of the evening and some of the food was still cold.

The place is small, crowded and therefore noisy. The food from the buffet is nothing sensational and consists mainly of various sauces with vegetables. Almost no protein sources.

Read moreWhen I visited it seems like all options were vegan except one which had cheese in it, I asked many times and left the place still without understanding if it was vegan or vegetarian since two member said it was made with fake cheese but still called the dish vegetarian. I was not the only one confused and they struggle a bit with English! I would still recommend this but make sure you check what’s v and what’s vg.

Wir waren gestern Abend im Chimy‘s. Wir wurden herzlich begrüsst. Ich hatte online leider überlesen, dass es keine à la carte Auswahl gibt - also Buffet! Das Essen war lecker und was ausging wurde fortlaufend ersetzt. Einziger Kritikpunkt: kein offenes und kein lokales Bier - zumindest gestern nicht. Dafür kostenlos Hahnenwasser.

We got greeted friendly and found a nice place in the busy restaurant. There were many choices at the buffed. The food tested well, but not great. Also, some dishes, especially the dumplings, got empty and not replaced.

If you can only eat one place in Zurich, go here. The buffet was incredible. Super friendly service, clean and cute place, incredibly delicious food. There was only one non-vegan option when I went - a cheese momo.

This is one of our all-time favourite restaurants in Switzerland. The evening all-you-cat eat buffet is spectacular, with a great selection of momos, salads, curries and more. Usually everything is vegan apart from one or two items. Warm and friendly service too, for adults and kids! The new addition of weekday lunch vegan bowls is also great - I love both the rice and noodle bowls.
