Chicken or the egg? 🫣 - Edit

Read moreA couple of weeks ago I ordered from the vegan side of this business on Uber Eats. Imagine my disappointment when the order arrived with an egg. Thankfully, the egg was in a separate container so I thought I could still enjoy the meal. A few chomps in I found a short, curly hair in my tofu. Yikes. Straight into the bin it went.
Fast forward to yesterday and I finally decided to forgive and forget (mind you, I’ve been a regular customer for years) and gave them another shot. I ordered again from the vegan menu. Two mouthwatering tofu rice meals, please and thank you.
Well, readers of Happy Cow reviews, one of those meals was chicken. Actual chicken. So either their kitchen isn’t equipped to handle a vegan menu, or their staff are completely incompetent.
On the bright side, I guess I finally have an answer to the age-old question: what came first, the chicken or the egg 🫠

Cheap, tasty, filling - Edit
The choice isn't amazing for vegans, it doesn't claim to be fancy but it does what you need it to do really well. It's filling, really tasty, quite cheap and somewhat high in protein if you get tofu.

I make it a point to order from here at least once a month. Seriously, the tofu rice meal is amazing. Soft spongy tofu soaking up the sichuan goodness. Huge portions. Perfectly pickled beansprouts. I'm dying just thinking about it.

Hot. Warmth and spice - Edit
It was chilly out and I wanted to warm up. This was the right food at the right time. Nice to see some clearly labeled vegan options. I hade the tofu veg hot pot. It was all around delicious. I liked being able to choose the level of spicy you wanted.

One of the most outstanding food i had in a while. A buch of New tastes i neuer had combined before, you can choose the spiciness of your food. Unfortunately the noodle dishes seem not to be vegan, it still is really really good. You should try it.

One of the best meals we had in Bristol for sure, such a shame I’d never heard of it.

Addictive stuff! - Edit
I totally love their tofu hotpot but go easy on the chilli (2-3) unless you know what you're doing. Great value for money, quick service and super tasty. Their tofu has a unique firmness which adds to the experience and the broth it comes in is full of flavour.
