Quel régal! Nous étions embêtés devant tous ces choix de pizzas! Tout est végane et tout semblait bon. Nous avons opté pour la Mile end. Succulente. Croûte et garnitures sont excellentes.

I’ve liked every pizza I’ve tried here, but the Aphrodite is my absolute favourite. I want to know how they get the seitan so chewy and amazing! I liked the Thai pizza they used to have (with peanut sauce), but noticed it was gone the last time I went there 😕

Vegan pizzas not hard to come by. Any old pizzeria will put something together for their vegan patrons, but you will often end up with a soggy slice that's actually just their all-dressed, without pepperoni or cheese. Some vegan restaurants will go the opposite direction, and offer you their own twist on pizza, and you'll end up with a spectacular piece of cuisine with truffle oil, celery sticks, fennel pollen, agave syrup, rapini, pickled red onion and/or cashew blue cheeze (no kidding, I've come across all of these ingredients). Then, you can try to scratch that itch for a traditional, oven baked, old-fashioned pizza that smells and taste like greasy heaven by cooking at home, and you can get pretty good results, but it's never quite *it*.
Read moreAfter seven years as a vegan, I've finally come across that holy grail Chez Zac. At first I was a bit sceptical, as the pizzas on the menu kind of all look the same and are all a combination of the same 8-10 ingredients. I picked an All Dressed, which is more "traditional" with a marinara base, cheese, mushroom, green pepper and seitan chicken (I could not find the option to add olives), and an Aphrodite, with a pesto base, almonds, cheese and sundried tomatoes. But, WOW. The amazing pizza smell that oozes through the (beautifully decorated) box! Both pizzas were pretty much perfect. I will happily glaze over not having many ingredient options: I don't need anything else to be blissfully satisfied. This will be my new go-to place for my pizza fix in Montreal.
Pros: All vegan!, Tastes like REAL traditional pizza, Artwork on the box was a nice plus!
Cons: Many pizzas, but all the same few ingredients

Chez Zac's pizza was absolutely incredible!! Our favourite was the Mile End which was fantastically spiced and fresh. The crust was incredible too, so crisp. Highly recommend it!

I appreciate any place that has solely vegan options! Especially pizza. Had the Le Mile End pizza. Sauce, cheese, and toppings were great but I wasn’t a huge fan of the dough. I’m usually a crust lover, but didn’t eat it on this one. Got takeout- friendly staff and they draw on the to go boxes which was cute. Good vegan pizza option😊🌱🍕

Nous avons essayé la Beyond et la mille end. Un régale.
Le personnel est super gentils, anglophone uniquement ce qui me fait retirer une étoile.
La salle est petite avec seulement deux tables de 4. Les toilettes sont cachées au fond de la cuisine et très... particulières.
Mais l'ambiance globale est vraiment fun: De la musique à la déco de la petite salle en passant même par le look du personnel.
Une très belle découverte.
Pros: Tout est vegan et super bon, Bon rapport qualité prix, petite pizza à 12$, Bonne ambiance
Cons: Anglophone only, Toilettes peu agréable

I have to express my excitement over finding an all vegan pizzeria! Chez Zac Pizzeria has a really extensive and creative menu, with lots of great options to choose from.
Read moreWhat doesn’t push this rating to five stars is the fact that I found the pizzas a tad bit bland. I am very much a fan of loaded toppings and generous “cheese”. With the pizzas I chose, I didn’t feel like they delivered the flavour punch I was looking for.
I would still absolutely try again, and plan to in the near future!

Delicious vegan pizza and cheesecake - Edit
My first visit, I chose two 10-inch pizzas plus a piece of cheesecake. I really like the bianca sauce - the Goombas pizza includes mushrooms and was excellent. I liked the Penny Lane margherita-sauce pizza also - many good toppings. The lime-coconut raw cheesecake was delicious, served with a few luscious, fresh raspberries. I’ll look forward to trying more of the menu.

Their pizza and Mac and cheese cured my mental breakdown. I got the Aphrodite pizza which was lovely, the pesto was very flavourful and the seitan was awesome. The Mac and cheese was probably the best vegan mac and cheese I’ve ever had. It was just… perfect 😍 they even did the cutest drawing on the box and takeout bag. 10/10 will be eating here many more times.
