Best Vegan Cake I've Tried

I ordered a vegan black forest gateaux for my birthday, and even the non vegans loved it! They were shocked when I told them it was vegan.

Excellent Vegan Cakes

These cakes are amazing.

I had the experience of trying these on many of my birthdays, and they were wonderful, with personal touches that I can tell had extra effort and time put into them. They had special shapes and features that meant more than your standard cake format.

**update: I had a second cake from Chez Malachy that was equally delicious. It was a themed mango cake with origami birds with trees and leaves on it. It was another wow cake that looked too good to eat!**

I would recommend.

Spectacular Cake

Malachy made a wonderful three-storey rhubarb, ginger and chocolate cake for my birthday, which was a combination of my favourite flavours. I was really impressed with how it looked and tasted and I would have no hesitation in using Chez Malachy again. I intend to use Chez Malachy for my son's 21st later this year.

Delicious, professional, ethical, stunning

I had my birthday cake made by Malachy and he blew me away. I didn't know what I wanted so he teased it out and came up with a cake combining my favourite flavours - banana, chocolate and almond. It was a gorgeous three-layer cake with such a cool drip decoration. It was out of this world, honestly, I've never had a cake like that before. Malachy was so kind and courteous when he delivered the cake himself - such a gent.
My omni pals couldn't believe it was vegan bc of how light and creamy it was, and the whole cake was gone in two sittings. Everyone went for seconds and thirds 🙈
I'll definitely be contacting Chez Malachy for more! Couldn't recommend this business enough

Pros: Exquisite taste, Inventive/willing to work with your ideas

Extremely happy and out of this world

Chez Malachy is just amazing. He made two beautiful vegan cakes that were layered with lime cream curd with noomi basra and a giraffe theme cardamom and blueberry for our son’s first birthday. As you could imagine it was a total hit not only for us but for the guests as well as no one wondered it was egg/milk free😄our son also tasted a piece of each and wanted more. We will certainly order from Chez Malachy again. All this in a few days. Thank you!!

Pros: Very professional and in such a short notice.

Cons: None at all

Absolutely delicious

I had a chance to have my bday cake made by Malachy. He was so kind to accept preparing it despite my being so last-minute and it was sooo delicious! I must really emphasise I generally don’t enjoy sweets at all, so if even I say it was delicious, you must be by this time tempted by trying his cakes yourself!

Mind-blowingly delicious

I attended a party today that had cakes by Chez Malachy and all I can say is O.M.G.!!! All of them were mind-blowingly delicious! There was the most amazing chocolate tart, a tangy lemon curd tart, banana cake and a stunning unicorn birthday cake (for a 4 year old) with strawberry buttercream and chocolate cake. One of the other guests described the chocolate tart as orgasmic - I’d have to agree as I ate two pieces. The strawberry buttercream on the unicorn cake had real pieces of (freeze-dried?) strawberry. Hands down the best buttercream I’ve ever tasted - whether vegan or omni. On my way home from the party I was starting to think about when I can organise a party so that I can order cakes from Chez Malachy myself. I can’t wait!

The definition of baking excellence - Watch out for this culinary genius

Malachy's exceptional gift for cake creation is truly astounding. Combining a unique creative flair, the element of exquisite taste and a hint of magic or je ne sais quoi, a cake from Malachy is a culinary experience like no other.

Consecutively for the past seven years, my birthdays have been graced by the presence of Malachy's cakes, having evolved to become a defining feature. Over the years I have ordered cakes for family members and various events, as Malachy's baked goods transcend the mere realm of taste, capturing and communicating a feeling through art, a skill worth lauding.

I cannot wait to see Chez Malachy flourish and grow - become a fellow customer and join the fan club!

Absolutely incredible cakes

I have only once had the honour of trying the cakes from Chez Malachy and I have been so impressed that I just had to leave a review. The talent and effort put into each and every cake is incredible and I love how they are sources well and are vegan friendly. I understand that being vegan friendly is a given but I have often found it a struggle to find vegan cakes which are quite as nice as the ones you can get from Chez Malachy.

10/10 would recommend.

Pros: Beautiful design, Tasty food, Ethically sourced

Cons: Too far away :(

International cuisine

I have known Chez Malachy all their life and would like to think I played a small part in their development.
They have impressed me with their ethical dedication to veganism and their talent at creating both visually and nutritiously delightful cuisine. I would highly recommend their cuisine to anyone who would like to indulge themselves and support the creations of this young chef.

Bonne chance, Chez Maurice
