Vegan option if you’re looking for Thai food

Very fancy building and extravagant decoration, but the carpet up the stairs is fraying and could do with an update and the whole place could do with a good clean. We went for lunch and the menu I was given was covered in what felt like jam! I asked for another menu and explained why, no apology just an “ok”. The new menu I received was stained, but at least not sticky. We had the set lunch for £20 each, we had the aubergine starter which was delicious and the spring rolls which were just ok. We then had the tofu green curry each, which was very tasty and a good portion. When the bill came they added on a 20p charity donation and a £5 service charge, both “optional” but the waitress put it on automatically on the card machine without asking if that was ok. Service was generally average

Pros: Thai green curry

Cons: Service , General cleanliness of restaurant , “Optional” service charge it was assumed you pay

Would not go back

We had two entrees and the vegan sampler platter. They were out of vegan chicken and their namesake beer as well. The food was ok but was either too spicy or too bland. Service was not great and the overall vibe was a bit weird. The space is fancy but also a bit odd. The green curry was a very small portion of food. Everything else was fine. I would not go back there are better places nearby.

Pros: Separate vegan menu

Cons: Had to ask for vegan menu, Out of vegan chicken

Great thai options

Quality vegan options and excellent service. Food is very tasty and they do 3 courses on their menus. Restaurant is in a beautiful old Glasgow mansion very close to train station. Lots of character. Lovely for a special treat. There’s a cocktail bar on the ground floor. Receptionist escorts you upstairs to the restaurant.

Pros: Beautiful building , Service quality , Great Thai food
