Game On - Edit
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. Staff were so friendly and there was a good range of clearly marked vegan options available, of which we shared the oyster mushroom wings, nachos with bean chilli, fries and a brownie, which were excellent.
Read moreAtmosphere was great and there are 600 board games to choose from, as well as plenty of vegan alcohol 🍻.
I would definitely recommend a visit here, as it's a lovely place to have fun and food with friends and family, but would advise booking to avoid disappointment.
Pros: Tasty food , Atmosphere / Fun, Staff

“Vegan” burger cooked on the same grill - Edit
Was going to order one of the few “vegan” options on the menu, but was informed they are cooked on the same grill as the beef burgers

Great vegan food - Edit
Large portion of the menu is vegan or vegan option available and all their cakes are vegan! Really tasty food, the cauliflower wings were amazing as were the loaded fries. Delicious Oreo milkshake also! Highly recommend. And definitely have a go at some board games as well!

Glad I took a chance on this place - Edit
Found this place walking past with friends. We all got different things, but as the only vegan we all had lots of choice. I had the nachos with bean chilli and dirty vegan fries and they were really good. Decent price and came out fairly quickly. I really enjoyed my food here.
Read moreThey had lots of alternative milks and two options for cakes!
We walked in, and were able to sit outside to eat and drink. Unfortunately we hadn't booked for board games and they were fully booked, but I'd definitely come back and book for games too next time I visit Birmingham :)

Tacos, Tacos, Tacos! - Edit
Most people go here for the board games, but that's just secondary for me. I'm absolutely mad about the tofu tacos here!
Read moreDon't get me wrong, a games night is always great fun but I go on Tuesdays for a reason. Half-price tacos. The vegan tacos I go for are the fajita-spiced tofu & burnt lime with vegan mayo.
They have some other great vegan junk food too like loaded fries, a beyond burger, cauli wings and nachos.
Pros: Tacos, Games, Tacos
Cons: Pints are usually at least £5.50

Great food and board games! - Edit
We had the tofu tacos (half price because it was taco Tuesday!) and all of the vegan fries options: balti fries, chilli fries and “war” fries which were covered in a peanut sauce. We also ordered the cauliflower wings in buffalo sauce. All of this fed 4 people very easily. I also spotted some vegan milkshakes on the menu. A really great afternoon out with lovely food and so many board games to choose from!

Really fun - Edit
Fun and creative concept for a cafe. Great selection of vegan drinks and they had vegan cakes too! There is a £3 fee per head if you stay up to 2 hours playing their games but there's so much to choose from, it's honestly worth it.

Great Place - Edit
Love this place. Great independent, with a couple locations round the country. All vegan options are very clearly labelled, including drinks. My fave combo is the vegan burger, queso cauliflower wings and chips! ooh and don’t forget the cake of the day!

Great date location - Edit
I came here with my boyfriend late on Valentine’s Day and managed to get a table (although most were full!) it is next door to a retro arcade gaming place so the businesses complement each other nicely. We got some gin and played a game of Scrabble Trickster (the drinks were reasonably priced given the popular location in the Custard Factory)! I noticed several vegan cakes on the counter as well as non-dairy milks for hot drinks and a wealth of vegan food choices so will definitely be going back. You pay per table not per person so it isn’t too pricy and there are deals throughout the week (2 for 1 cocktails and free gaming before 5pm on Wednesdays for students etc.)
