Atmosphere looked nice; wish I didn’t have to order to go. Ordering was a pain - only one terminal and you had to look elsewhere to find details about each item. On the plus side, almost every menu item could be made vegan. Actual tacos were a bit hit or miss, the mushrooms being my favorite.

This place is a solid spot while in DC. We got the trio of tacos, nachos, and drinks. All were excellent. Any of the dishes can be made vegan.

Vegan Options Available Near Chinatown - Edit
Strolling by and happy to find them open, establishment is spacious and welcoming. Minus no personnel to take orders, I was referred to the kiosk. Most items as many have said can substitute vegan cheeses etc, for additional surcharge.
Read moreOrdered the Sweet Potato Nachos - good but I would have loved more chips, it was definitely satisfying and different with the flavors. I also ordered the vegan cheese quesadilla - don’t recommend, it’s like a regular corn taco tortilla with vegan cheese cut into four. No me gusto.
Overall nice layout but maybe I went on an off day, it was empty before 8PM like an hour before closing…so personnel were busy trying to clean up to go home. Good in a pinch but probably wouldn’t go back, check it out if in the area but I’d* rather support fully vegan spots.

My friend and I really enjoyed our visit here! We tried the sweet potato nachos, mushroom quesadillas, and a mushroom taco, all with vegan cheese. Everything was delicious! I especially enjoyed the nachos. The staff were also great! I’d definitely come back.

The only thing keeping this place from 5 starts is that it’s not fully vegan. It has an incredible selection the food is delicious and well prepared. The service is quick and friendly age the restaurant is clean and cute. Loved it and will be a regular.

On vacation and the first place I stopped for grub. Braised mushroom, kale and potato and sweet potato hash trio. Easy to order on the computer in store and mark vegan. Loved each of them for different flavors. Would definitely go back.

I ordered two tacos but wish I had the appetite for more! I tried the mushroom taco and the sweet potato taco. Both were delicious! The flavor combinations were unlike any tacos I'd had before, and it was so good!

The food was okay. Lots of vegan options. The vibe was super dead, no one greeted us or was available to answer questions about the menu (ordered from an iPad). Enchilada was fine - not the best I’ve ever had. Tacos were decent. My margarita was not good. Very syrupy.

Read moreThis was a premeal snack and oh boy I almost had to get more it was so good. The braised mushrooms were super flavorful and the corn tortillas were delicious and a good thickness. If you’re going for a meal I would recommend getting 3 tacos. The hibiscus tea was also the perfect level of sweet and tangy. Would come back for sure to try more on the menu!

Loved the options on the menu as most options can be veganized. However, they messed up our order by giving us dairy cheese on one taco and no cheese on the other. The food was just ok. The tacos themselves are very good but the filling and sauces were ok and the 3 tacos option is not filling. Maybe adding some vegan protein would have made them more filling. Overall preferred the enchiladas to the tacos.

Everything here is vegetarian, and many items can be made vegan. The sweet potato taco and the mushroom taco were underwhelming; but the collard green taco, the beet taco, and the potato kale were pretty good. The sweet potato nachos were also yummy with creamy black beans and cilantro sauce. They change some tacos seasonally.

Pretty much everything (except for 2 tacos) can be made vegan upon request. Vegan cheese can be added for no additional cost. I tried 3 tacos - the braised mushroom and chipotle sweet potato hash were out of this world, but I probably wouldn’t get the green bean taco next time (just a bit of an odd combo). Draft margaritas are quite good and very affordable ($8 regularly and $6 during happy hour) and they don’t skimp on the alcohol. Highly recommend their canetas (which are vegan). Will definitely be returning!
