Served me meat - Edit
The staff were very friendly but I was served a non-vegan sausage roll after asking for a vegan one. Bit into it without realizing. I went back to return the sausage roll and they apologised but I felt they could have given me a discount on the food after that mistake.

I’ve never rated CAWA as being vegan friendly. When they opened the cafe in Broomhill a few years ago they really weren’t interested in being vegan friendly. Sorry you had this experience.

Limited vegan options - Edit
There were only three basic vegan options available when I visited, which were a sausage roll, banana bread and flapjack. The treats looked a little dry too. The oat latte I ordered was superb though and staff were very friendly.

We have this place so many chances - Edit
We used to live a minutes walk from here and gave it about 4/5 chances because we really wanted it to have a good local bakery to depend on. Unfortunately the bread was never fresh, despite paying top dollar for it, the pastries were similarly disappointing and the coffee was meh.
