I wanted to love it

I didn't really like the food and I really wanted to, as I went for vegan restaurant week.
The staff was super sweet and hospitable! My favorite thing was the lentil/cracked wheat dish--it was very good but I am sad it came out as the 3rd course. I wish they put the 3 courses together because I would've loved to mix and eat everything together. The pickled veggies became to sour to eat without anything else, the hummus/baba ghanoush had such a great texture but I kept wanting a deeper enhanced and acidic flavor to them. The falafel bhajiyas were very fried and had a nugget-like coating around it that made it seem like it wasn't really a falafel. The pita was super thin and dry and it just didn't hit. Sadly none of it hit for me. I love baklava and can eat it like its going out of style, however I felt the one here was a bit too sweet and syrupy for me--it was oozing out everywhere as I was eating it. And it was paired with sweetened tea. Overall, I was left with the feeling that I wish I got takeout somewhere else and not prefixed. Based on the very positive reviews the restaurant as I think I am in the very small % of people who didn't enjoy the food here.

Great food and atmosphere

Stopped in after a soccer game at the Linc. Place was packed w Moroccan supporters from the game. Food was so good and the owner was super friendly.

Incredible food!!!

This place is so amazing. Truly. The food is delicious, the owners are so kind, and it’s so pretty inside. The menu is so very vegan friendly. Vegan baklava, spinach pie, salads galore, delicious olives, a couple vegan platters and falafel sandwiches. All delicious. The food and place honestly gets 5 starts but happy cow downgrades to 4 since they serve animals products. Order at the counter or online, or sit and eat, or grab and go for some staples, they also have dry goods for sale and a really great variety of things. I can’t wait to return!! this place is truly incredible.
