We loved it! - Edit
What a great place!!
Read moreGood people, good vibe, yummy food.
We solved the "riddle of the week" and got free tea by our choice😄
The woman told us about the background of the place which is very interesting. And we even painted something for the restaurant.
The world need more places like this!

Good and inexpensive - Edit
I had a dish of the day, a small lemon cake and a glass of Porto wine. Everything was delicious and very fulfilling, I spend about 5 euros. The staff was nice and friendly. Super recommend.

I had a Japanese dinner here. It was great to find such an international place in Porto and they also had very nice live music. The Japanese dinner was also very tasty.

Very funky!! But food was delicious!! Not our favorite vegan restaurant, but wins for best food!!! The restaurant sort of in a cave and menu is whatever they prepared for the day. It was so delicious.

Cute cosy place - Edit
The food is simple and the service friendly and helpful. The place was busy and it made me so happy to see so many people avoiding animal cruelty by eating here. Really happy to find.

Incredible place! - Edit
Fun environment (books, nice music, wifi, games), very friendly staff, and delicious food (maybe the best I've had in Portugal) with big portions! Lunch is about €5.50 for the main plate, a big soup, and a drink.

We were there several times and everything is perfect there. The atmosphere and the people are wonderful and the food is more than excellent for this low price.

Excellent! - Edit
My husband and I went for lunch and loved it! There was only one option on the menu but we didn’t care because it was so good. Starter was a carrot and sweet potato soup and the main course was a chickpea tomato dish, hummus, potatoes, salad, and soy ground “meat.” We were too full for dessert, but they had several vegan options for that as well. Highly recommend!

I love this place! The vibe is relaxed and the francesinha was delicious. They make their own seitan and kombucha!

Alternative vibe but fun - Edit
This place isn’t strictly a restaurant, more an association focussing on being veggie and the preserving the earth (so definitely hippie vibes) but I liked it. There’s only two main meals offered each day. Food was nice and they have live singers most nights.

Cheap and cozy - Edit
Had a cheap francesinha that was really tasty. Really cozy mood. It’s not a restaurant, so I recommend leaving a tip, since the prices are so low and the staff super nice!

Love it - Edit
This is a sort of community center, which hosts activities like debates and serves food and drinks. Don't expect fancy food or very professional service. I'm not saying this as a criticism of the place, which I love, just as a warning for tourists who might think that this is just another café/restaurant. To be clear, the space is supposed to be open only to members of the NGO, because of legal obligations, but no one will stop anyone who's not an associate from going in.
Read moreThe food is usually good, although with some occasional flaws that come from the fact that many of the people who work here are international volunteers who come to Portugal under voluntering programmes. That never stopped me from going there but, again, don't expect fancy food. Just nice and cheap food in a friendly and nice environment.
Pros: Beautiful place, Friendly staff
Cons: Food quality can vary

Great value, good food - Edit
Ate here twice on our holiday. We never usually go somewhere twice but as this place has a menu that changes each day, is supporting a good cause and is amazing value we decided to go again. We spent €20 including a bottle of wine and had tasty food. It’s cooked by volunteers so there’s no point going if you want quick service but they were very nice and were as good as any waiters we had elsewhere. Definitely would go here again if in Porto.
