Lets start with the positive: great location, loved the croquettas with apple and pine nuts and the seitan with pepper sauce was really tasty. Sadly the Lasagne was way to wet and the white wine was not nice at all.

Great starters - the cold almond and garlic soup was fantastic, as was the hummus. The main courses were okay but nothing special, but after three days in rural Soain, it was good to eat something other than salad and patatas bravas!

Great experience ! MENU DEL DIA for lunch during the week 14,80€ - Edit
I went there during the week and discovered their wonderful Menu del dia . 14,80€ for starter, first main, second main and dessert ! (And you can choose between different options, all veggie) . I had ajoblanco con uva (traditional malaga cold soup mix of eggs and bread ) it was delicious :). Second starter I chose the courgette soup (tasty and refreshing). For the main I had pasta with cheese (nothinf exceptional but good) and dessert natilla de vanilla (Spanish kind of "Creme brulee") really tasty !

I was very disappointed after reading other reviews. Vegan options clearly marked. It was all very disappointing. The food didn't have a lot of flavour, the potatoes were the best thing about the meal. I appreciate the effort and choice but the sietan with saucy was very watery and flavourless. the burger had no taste. I wouldn't return, shame.

a good selection of vegetarian and vegan options available. vegan options are clearly marked. we ordered the croquette platter, aubergine au gratin and the couscous. Everything seemed like a throwback to around 10 years ago when the vegan / veg scene was picking up in Europe. The au gratin was mediocre and cold. the side salad was crisp and fresh. The croquette platter was tasty. The couscous was bland and non appetizing.

Cañadú is a nice place to go to eat. It is a vegetarian restaurant with lots of vegan options. The food is tasty and good. There is a daily menu with 3 dishes and a dessert.

We had the apple and pine nut croquettes, the persa rice, aubergine au gratine (vegetarian) and dark chococlate flan. The food in my opinion was nothing to write home about, I really liked the salad that came along with the croquettes, and nothing tasted bad but it also didn't stand out in any way. The apple nut filling of the croquettes was creative though. Everything tastes and looks very homemade (relatable? like something you could achieve at home) and so is the ambiance of the restaurant, like a family restaurant. It's a cozy vibe. We also had the apple, pinneapple and orange mixed juice (with paper straws), which I appreciated for being authentically fresh, I usually don't like a thick consistency of drinks but it was fine in this case. The flan was okay but nothing impressive either, my omnivore company liked the vegetarian aubergine but the flan not that much. Now on a very positive note, though there were quite a lot of people we immediately got seated, service was really quick, we were done with eating in under an hour, and the waiters were very kind. Everything is clearly marked on the menu and they don't only offer a lot of vegan but also gluten free and sugar free dishes. Also the portions are huge, I sadly couldn't finish my rice because of it and had to pack up the left overs— sadly they only had plastic boxes for take away. And as I said the ambiance was quite good, I can imagine it's even better when the weather is good and you get to sit outside and enjoy the energy of the plaza. I appreciate them for their great service but wouldn't return as I wasn't that into the food.

Excellent Vegan Options - Edit
We sat inside as it gets a little chilly in the late evening. We had the Surtido Croquetas for starters. This was a selection of Apple, Spinach and Mushroom filled croquettes. For mains we had the Arroz Persa and the Berenjena Gratina. Both were delicious. And for dessert we shared a lovely Tarta de Queso. Excellent service and pricing. Nice setting too.

Read moreThis was our first visit and excited to try many things. We opted for the 4 course and would only do 3 the next time. The courses were a great size. Everything was delicious. The salads seemed fresh and the flavors in all courses really stood out. The chocolate flan was a real treat and melted in your mouth.
Our next visit was a La carte. Gazpacho, hummus, potato bravas and callos vegetarianos soup with chickpeas, mushrooms and almonds. Everything is great. For my palate, I would add more acid or salt. Just a little bit.

Don't miss the daily menu - Edit
I was surprised to find this vegan restaurant in Málaga. Most restaurants offer just fast food or a standard dish with meat replacement. This one has a daily menu during the day with 4 courses for 15 euro. And you can choose between 2 or 3 vegan options for each plate. Love the concept.

Great options for all tastebuds - Edit
Very surprised to find a fully vegetarian restaurant in the centre! My meat-eater husband(who grumbled at the start) was converted quickly! We had the soy meatballs with mushroom sauce, mushroom croquetas and the cantu burger. Huge portions for a good price! We’d come again ☺️
