Casual cafe opened Feb 2019 by two friends, Camille and Boquion, hence the name Camion. Serves lunch foods like sandwiches, salads, and daily soup plus coffee and extensive apero of sharing dishes. On Sunday 1 meal serves as 3: brunch, lunch, and aperitif. Reported to be fully vegan May 2022. Open Tue-Sat 08:00-16:00. Closed Sun-Mon.

Nice lunch. The toast looks great and tastes lovely! And appreciate the good knife to cut it 😉 (in some places the knives hardly cut through avocado 😄, let alone a toast).
The ginger lemonade was very nice, but a rather small drink.
Nice fabric napkins.
Very quick and friendly service. 💚
Seatings are combination of bench (with cushions) and a handful of low tables, some high tables, and some bar stools at the counter/bar.
Saw 1 toilet. Clean, but a bit wore down and very dark. Didn't see an accessible toilet. Entrance stepfree.
Gave them a Happy Cow Window Decal.
Hope they put it up!

Read moreI had a kimchi grilled cheese and a Jerusalem artichoke soup. Both were delicious, especially the kimchi toast. I also tried a black sesame latte but it wasn’t my favourite because of all the sesame bits at the bottom. It seems that this place doesn’t really advertise itself as vegan (maybe to attract more non-vegan customers, fair enough), there was a ‘lactose-free’ sign on the pastries so we double checked with staff that all the food is indeed vegan! Would go back again.

This restaurant was a lucky find in a quiet neighbourhood. I’m so delighted to have been here, enjoy their lunch combination so I could try all different things. Their hibiscus lemonade was also very delicious. If I ever go back to Antwerp I will definitely come back!

After finding 3 options weren’t open (check the hours first on Google), I eventually settled on Camion and I’m so glad I made it here. The menu was in Flemish but they offered to help me if I needed anything. I decided on an espresso and the flatbread with tofu and mushrooms. This was a really nice tofu scramble. Lots of flavour and I liked the flatbread. Coffee was good too and staff were nice.

this is soooooooooo heaven to be there. We visited camionnette, it s the same owner but another place. The place is really soooo nice to be there. the environment is perfect and magic! They cook also on a woodfire and that smells delicious!!! it gives you an instant holiday feeling, in combination with the delicious special food, the staff who is super nice and the lovely exotic music, you feel like you are in heaven and you never want to leave the place.... really a gogo!!
