Missing tofu! - Edit
The only vegan option is the Vegan tantanmen ramen. But there’s no vegan protein, which is disappointing. It’s so common to have inari as a topping, so it was strange that it wasn’t on the menu. The broth wasn’t that flavorful, but the noodles were nice and chewy.

Only repeat meal on a 10 day trip it was so good! - Edit
We tried the edamame the first time but was too much food to have that and the Vegan Tantenmen Ramen, so we went back for just the ramen a second time. Delicious!

Updated Menu and No Tofu - Edit
I was excited to visit this restaurant for vegan bao and ramen but was met with confusion when I asked. They must have updated their menu because now all they have is vegan tantanmen. They replace the meat with corn. When inquiring on tofu, they said they had none-which is super weird.
Read moreThe tantanmen was good but kinda lacking in a protein. For appetizers, they stated the seared bamboo shoots, kimchi, bean sprouts, and garlic edamame were all vegan. I opted for the kimchi and bean sprouts, which were good but maybe not $6.50 good. These sides are often included.

Clearly marked options. More than one choice!! In fact, a whole menu page. Good, flavorful ramen. Came here late one night and the hours were convenient. Service was pretty quick but there weren’t too many people there.

I had the vegan Tan Tan ramen. Very spicy. Very delicious! My non-vegan husband also enjoyed his dish. I appreciate that the vegan options are clearly marked too.

Casual Friendly Ramen Spot - Edit
Good little Omni Japanese restaurant, centrally located. 2 x defined Vegan Options that were both tasty and also had Vegan Bao option. Cost, very friendly staff, great service.
Read moreVegan Bao was good, sold per piece so not exactly cheap, strong maybe black bean flavour, but they were good.
Had the Tan Men without noodles as a GF option (contained some soy sauce not 100% GF), nice light broth slightly creamy, good flavour. Subbed in steamed rice as a replacement for the noodles.
Had the TanTan Men vegan option. Very nice, has a cashew base, slightly spicy, I didn’t need to order extra spicy sauce as it had a good mild zing. Creamy as stated, good strong flavours, it is a good choice and I would have it agin.
Pros: Centrally located, Cost atmosphere, Good service

Amazing Vegan Tan Tan - Edit
The vegan tofu Tan Tan is super delicious. There is enough wheat noodles in it that you don't have to order extra. Tan Tan also has enough spice in it and do not need anything more than what it already has. It's just amazing. The ambience is nice too.
