Okay good, okay service - Edit
Been here multiple times, but it’s not as lovely as other reviewers point out. I’ve been slightly disappointed each time with the service and food options. I wish they’ve expanded their menu a bit more to accommodate others with tree nut allergies. I do like the Asian and Mexican inspired dishes though.

I am in love with this place - Edit
Everything on the menu looks great, and I wish I could have ordered more. I got the sesame soy chicken dish, and it was honestly amazing. A meat-eater might notice that the meal does not contain any meat, but only because the stuff tastes too good to be meat.
Read moreThe staff is very friendly, and our waitress had excellent recommendations when we asked her for her favourite items on the menu.
The desserts are so good. You should really really order some. We got a slice of coconut cake and a slice of chocolate mousse something cake, and both were delicious. We split the two slices with four people though, and I am happy we did because having a slice on your own is probably too much.
I have only one complaint about this place: it is too far away from midtown, which meant I could not go here every day of my stay in Atlanta.

My favorite location - Edit
I often go to the Sandy Springs location, but rarely this one. I love that they have different options. Always feel like the food is better in Buckhead.

My first time and the food was delicious. I ordered avocado tacos, crispy Brussel Sprouts and sliders. But, the best part of the meal was chocolate ganache tart!

Love this place! must go for a vegan when in HOTLANTA - Edit
We made a reservation. From outside the Cafe Sunflower does not look spectacular but inside it is really pretty, upscale, modern and nice. The food and the drinks were fantastic. We enjoyed our stay a lot. Would come back! I personally really fell in love with the chocolate raspberry ganache cake...yum!

Non-Vegans Will Never Know - Edit
Great place to introduce non-vegans to vegan and vegetarian foods! The food is so freaking fabulous at this place that non-vegans would never even know they’re eating plant-based foods if nobody told them! Amazingly, everything on the menu is delicious! My family and I have yet to find any dish we wouldn’t order again. ❤️❤️❤️

Best brunch I've ever had - Edit
My partner and I had the most memorable meals of our lives at this restaurant. We went for Sunday brunch and would highly recommend it. Even though we arrived close to the closing time, we were seated and served within 10 minutes. She ordered the tofu benedict and I had the chicken biscuit. They were both delicious, well-balanced and fairly priced. We are both vegan but would bring non-vegan friends here because the food is so amazing. We were too full for desert but the options looked incredible. Next time we are in Atlanta, we will have to come back!

Good food - Edit
This restaurant had a great atmosphere. My mom and I shared the spring rolls. They were okay but way too expensive for 2 tiny rolls.
Read moreI ordered the Portabella mushroom melt with daiya cheese (only available at lunchtime). It was great but not worth the $13 price tag. My mom ordered steamed dumplings with were bland and not very good at all, especially for $9 for 6 small dumplings. Finally, we finished off with vanilla and espresso vegan gelato. EXTREMELY small serving. Pretty good though.
Pros: Everything can be made vegan, attentive waiters, good atmosphere
Cons: Expensive, Small servings

wonderful brunch - Edit
i went with three colleagues of mine. only one of them are vegetarian. the food blew us away. my friend & i had the chicken biscuit with the tofu scramble, potatoes, & kale. the jalapeño fig jelly on the biscuit is to die for. i also need their tofu scramble recipe. it tastes better than real eggs. my other friends enjoyed their food as well one got chicken and waffles & the other got like a tofu benedict kind of dish. the bottle of wine was devine too a french rose.

Nice intimate place - Edit
I usually host birthday parties here or go on special dates. They are all vegan but I am gluten free and although I order gluten free, I often have an allergy attack after visiting here.
Read moreI traveled down the rabbit hole once when their pumpkin spice latte triggered me to question their ingredients.
By the ambiance and it being an all vegan restaurant, I assumed they'd be using quality ingredients.
I learned in the rabbit hole that there is no actual pumpkin inside of the latte and instead it was artificially flavored with a syrup that they were so kind to show me the bottle of. Gasp, for air and clutching my pearls.
That makes me leery of eating here because their overall standards aren't in alignment with mine.
I wish they'd raise their standards alot on the quality of products they use. Its not just about being vegan, but lets be healthy too please.
Pros: Intimate ambiance, All vegan, Menu is vast
Cons: low quality ingredients, uses artificial flavors

Expensive but delicious - Edit
My husband and I go here on our anniversaries only, mostly because there's usually a long wait and it's extremely expensive. Most of their dishes have soy in them. The ones that don't are extremely delicious.

A gem in Buckhead - Edit
While visiting Atlanta, we were lucky enough to get a reservation at Cafe Sunflower. Our server, Leigh was outstanding and lead us through the menu brilliantly. Our portobello sliders were so good and fun to eat, just enough as an appetizer. I had the cauliflower Marsala and he had the seitan marsala, both delicious. Huge portions, but all healthy (save for them using a bit of oil).

Beware - Edit
If healthy vegetarian is what you seek, be aware that this spot uses poison in their foods. All vegetarian and vegan spots do not adhere to healthy diets. Metabisulfites in the tortillias they use is a clear example. I know, because I visited and told them of this allergy and asked. The owner admitted the ingredient was in this food item. Cheap ingredients and charging premium prices. Very deceptive....and unhealthy. Be afraid, be very afraid. When are we ever going to get with food integrity. I was livid with this place because I've dined here for years and put up with the bad service on top of the ridiculous prices just to have an outting. Never again.
