Cafe Mustache Likes Vegan

This place has a pretty great vegan Chili. I also like the kale salad and the grain bowl. Never tried the vegan wrap.
Most coffee concoctions can be made vegan. There is often 1-2 vegan baked goods—usually closer to healthy than decadent. Very local, owners are friendly and hard working. If experimental music is your thing this is your new favorite venue. Photo booth in the back by the bar.

Not much for vegans

I used to study here. The coffee drinks were okay, and they have a bar for when a person is done studying. They never had many vegan options for eating.

Pros: I like their wooden tables, Good location, near CTA

Cons: Not many vegan options

Oops. I had confused this place with another café. This one is still open. My apologies.

Just ok

Has vegan specific dishes. The dish I had seemed slapped together. It was overly mushy like there wasn’t thought about the ratio of ingredients used. The person working the register was either having a bad day, doesn’t like their job, or is just rude. I like the idea of this place (cafe by day, music venue by night) but the food and bad service don’t stand up to what it could and should be.

Pros: Vegan options for almost every dish.

Cons: Price, Quality of food is poor, Service is poor

Excellent for a bite with coffee

2 great vegan wraps. Chili. And usually a vegan soup served with sour dough bread. Top notch coffee. I love to grab a bite for lunch and get some reading or work done.

limited options

Limited vegan options r $6.50 chili or $10 avocado wrap. I had the wrap. Was fine. A bit lackluster and small for $10. It's warm inside. Friendly staff.

Pros: warm inside, friendly staff

Cons: expensive, limited options, food is ok

Quick and cute

There's a few delicious vegan options and it's very quick! I love the Avocado Wrap, but you won't like it if you don't like tangy/vinegary things. Lovely music too. Beware, parking does not seem easy around here.

Pros: Quick, Nice atmosphere , Yummy

Cons: Not many options

Good music, food, and drinks

This place is always playing great music that's also really easy to tune out if you feel like reading or working. Very chill atmosphere during the day and night. I'm very happy that they are now open late with a bar! All of the staff have always been lovely to me. Very vegan-friendly, even down to their cocktails (vegan White Russian, anyone?). I wish they didn't charge extra for their almond or soy milk though.

Food-wise they have a rock star vegan chili, veggie wrap, and vegan trail mix scones. Beware, their trivia nights (once a month) are for music snobs - my team got our [censored] not only kicked, but pummeled.

Pros: vegan-friendly, quiet vibe considering the location, good music
