Nice- not vegan but everything can be made vegan - Edit
Nice selection of apps, main courses and desserts. Located on Whyte Ave and it’s not too far from the university.

Fav vegan spot in edmonton - Edit
Went two days in a row and got the Benny and Brussel sprouts one day, and the burger the other day. The Brussel sprouts are incredible, but I’d recommend the burger over the Benny. It had this excellent cheese in it. They have a great menu with fast service and nice ambience.

Great veggie spot near the university - Edit
Tasty vegetarian comfort food in a bright, airy atmosphere near the university campus. More than half of the menu is vegan. I especially enjoyed the donair and the pumpkin mac and cheese, both of which are on their "back from the vault" menu of old specials. The portion sizes are generous and the staff are friendly.

I liked it and would definitely go again. - Edit
Great place. The food was great, the service was great and the price was fair. The dessert was one I will be dreaming about for years to come - that blueberry cheesecake was to die for!

Food was excellent. I had the burger and fries and both were the best I’ve ever had. We also had their soup like, not sure the name on the menu, but my bf really enjoyed it. I also got a brownie and it was good but heavy.

Never disappoints - Edit
This is the first veg place I ever went to in Edmonton back in 2018, and I couldn't stop dreaming about it until I returned in 2021! It was even better than I remembered. Everything is delicious, and the interior design is my plant-loving, twinkle-light café fantasy. My all- time favourite is the Open Secret Bowl (which I think has been removed 😭). I also love the Breakfast Bowl! Plus their desserts and drinks are amazing. You really can't go wrong here 🥰

Delicious Vegan Food - Edit
Loved everything I’ve tried here. My favourite are the XL Mosaic wings and ceasar salad.
Read moreOn my last visit on August 28, 2021- our sever was exceptional good for a table of about 10 people.
I had Huevos Rancheros veganized with potatoes instead of the tortillas. The cashew sour cream was so good! I also had an iced cashew chai which hit the spot after a match down Whyte in the sun!
It’s a little tight in here for seating but I’ll ignore that for the excellent food and friendly service.
Pros: Yummy desserts , Trendy atmosphere, Good location
Cons: Small quarters

Great vegan Restaurant in the heart of Old Strathcona - Edit
I visit Cafe Mosaics all the time, but I also don’t go enough. It’s bright and clean and fresh, but feels as comfy as a college hangout or mountain lodge.

this place was insane. I'm not sure if it's because I'm not from North America but the portions are huuuge. and so so yum, the scramble tofu was in another league and I haven't had the cupcake yet but it looks ridiculous. I've been in Edmonton for two days and this is my second meal here...struggling to see why you'd go anywhere else.

It’s a nice time if you don’t mind the wait - Edit
I’ve been eating at Mosaics for years. They’ve had renovations, menu changes, new staff... and yet staff training seems to be overlooked. Every time I’ve been here it’s been slow service. Or even rude.
Read moreTonight I dined in with a group of friends. When I asked what the soup of the day was the waitress didn’t know and had to go ask the kitchen. When she returned she informed me that it was spicy asparagus, which she described as sounding “weird”. Didn’t sell me on the soup, had the kale caesar.
