Offers traditonal breakfast, Spanish potato tortilla, German potato salad, bruschetta with Misobrasada onion and cheese, zucchini spagheti with pesto, quiche with smoked tofu and red Thai curry with chick peas. Drinks include coffee with different plant milks as well as herbal teas and house-made lemonade. Open Mon-Thu 10:00-22:00, Fri-Sat 10:00-00:00, Sun 10:00-17:00.

Delicious!
Coffee and bulk tea were also prepared just right.
Service excellent.
Charming outdoor seating.

Este pequeño restaurante en Ruzafa no parece mucha cosa cuando entras, pero luego te sorprende de forma positiva con su comida. Pedimos la feta y la tortilla como entrantes y luego un chili sin carne y un curry de principal. Estaba todo muy rico y se notaba que era comida casera con ingredientes de calidad. El pan sin gluten también estaba muy bueno, lo que no suele ocurrir a menudo. Seguramente volveremos!

We ordered a quiche with smoked tofu. Food generally was good but unfortunately way too salty, we wouldn't survive without kombucha 😅 (original kombucha was great btw). Croissant was nice and just 1 eur. Will definitely come again to try other dishes there another time.

I went with a couscous salad with tofu as a starter, and chili sin carne as the main dish.
The couscous salad was alright, maybe a little more spices would have been nice.
The chili sin carne was tasty though I would have liked a larger portion size.

I traveled to Spain for two weeks and was often challenged to find vegan offerings (my shortcoming), but when I found Café Madrigal through Happy Cow, it was an oasis. As others have commented, the service is fantastic. I am a beginning Spanish speaker and the staff endured my Spanish with a smile and offered English when I struggled. The food was so good that when I went back the next day for lunch, my wife (who was resting) asked me to bring back the tortilla de patata, which while made with garbanzo flour, tasted to her as good as the egg-based original she was used to.
Read moreI started with the tortilla de patata on each of my two visits (delightful!), followed it with the quiches (the onion was slightly superior to the spinach in my opinion but they were both super tasty) and went with the chocolate tart and café solo for dessert.
I cannot recommend this café highly enough if you are in the neighborhood. Service with a smile and tasty vegan food? I am going to figure out a way to get back there.

One of my favourite places to eat whilst in Valencia that’s open all day. The tortilla and German potato salad are great and my favourite dish was the burger patties. Their iced coffee and cakes are delicious. Overall this place is a great all rounder.

You wouldn't think a cafe with a relatively simple menu would be that great. Well, upon being seated and served very quickly, we soon found out how incredible the service and the food was! Definitely worth trying in Valencia. We were blown out of this world with the incredibly delicious food. We'll certainly be back here again!

Loved this place. Relaxed vibe, great food and really good service. We had tortilla, German potato salad, quiche and Shwarma bowl. All very tasty. Would visit more if closer to us, breakfast and other tapas all sounded amazing. Recommend!
