Many of the items can be made vegan and the server made sure to offer recommendations and options! The samosas with tamarind sauce and gobi Manchurian were delicious!

Excellent Indian food in MKE - Edit
Strongly recommend Cafe India if you are looking for vegan Indian food in the Milwaukee area. Reasonably priced, large portions, clearly labelled vegan items and absolutely delicious food. We always end up overeating whenever we order from or come here.

This place is seriously amazing! There are so many delicious vegan options. My friend and I, who is not vegan, ordered three appetizers and a meal to share. We were absolutely blown away by how delicious every single thing was. Highly recommend and I wish I lived in Milwaukee so I could eat it every week!

Lots of vegan options. Delicious stuff. They have two locations: this one where you can sit and have a nice date night, and one further down the road which seems like a hole in the wall (because it's tiny and in a gas station strip mall). The gas station location was their original location and even though I'm sure everything is cooked the same, I prefer it (there is limited seating there, but most people get their food to go). Nice portion sizes. I usually get two meals out of a single dish.
