Amazing vegan burritos!

Just as the title says! I only tried the veggie burrito, which was massive and very flavourful (initially thought it was a tad expensive, but I feel the price was completely justified as it felt like a full meal). They also serve vegan loaded nachos. Could always improve with adding more vegan options, but the current ones they have are pretty great!

The location was clean with plenty of seating, and there are toilets just outside the restaurant (I believe they were unisex?), which were decent.

Bear in mind they seem to have moved over to Zipworld's carpark area, but that's only a couple minutes' drive from the town centre so not too far out of the way.

Hearty vegan burritos!

Lovely large space, very friendly staff and great burritos!

Vegan options for Burritos, Nachos and Burrito bowls.

Would have loved my burrito to have a little more kick, but otherwise great!

Pros: Plenty of options. , Friendly staff. , Reasonably priced.

Cons: No Choice of spice level

Delicious vegan options

I don’t feel able to give this place a 5 star review on a vegan app/website, because it serves meat and dairy. However, it does have clearly marked vegan burritos, burrito bowls, and nachos. This constitutes about one quarter of all the main course options. It opened only a week before I visited, situated right in the centre of the interesting slate mining town, Blaenau Ffestiniog. The vegan burrito I had was excellent, containing black beans and corn, Mexican rice, pica de gallo, guacamole and cashew-based sour cream. It was spicy, well-seasoned, tasted very fresh and had well-balanced textures. I was able to have a vegan beer with it (Corona). Service was very friendly, although I think that at this very early stage it is primarily the chef who has the vegan knowledge. The restaurant is spacious and has a mixture of dining tables chairs, and coffee tables with soft seating. The lighting is great: the building is not particularly pleasing to the eye, but as darkness fell, pools of light created a very appealing atmosphere. A solely vegan restaurant would probably struggle to survive in this location. In my opinion, the owners of this venture deserve credit for creating vegan options that are very much better than the drab, tokenistic offerings so often encountered elsewhere.

Pros: Fresh, delicious vegan options, Enthusiastic staff, Pleasant dining environment

Cons: Also serves meat dishes, Staff may not yet know which drinks are vegan, No vegan desserts listed on menu
