Breakfast - Edit
Lovely vegan fruit and nut yogurt granola breakfast. Partner had the spiced chickpea toastie. Plant based milks available and on the day we went they had a very tasty chocolate and espresso cake available.

Good vegan options & friendly staff - Edit
A lot of the menu can be made vegan, and the options are really good. We had the chickpea kimchi toastie and the cheesy leeky mushroom toastie (vegan cheese was yummy), both were huge and really tasty. The staff are super attentive and friendly, overall good vibes !

Great vegan options that were different than your usual offerings at other establishments - usually some kind of dry falafel type offering, but Burridges had a lovely mix of items to choose from - it's not often vegans have so much to pick from!
Read moreI opted for the coronation chickpea sandwich, it was a great size portion and lovely and creamy and lots of flavour! My husband had the Korean salad bowl, again, beautifully presented, great taste and a fantastic size portion!
We even returned the next day to enjoy the vegan cream tea scones, I was desperate to find somewhere that did vegan scones and Burridges again did not disappoint! The scones were warm - not expected - but omg - can I score them 100/10?!
Burridges will definitely be on to come back to visit list when we inevitably return to Torquay!

Love love LOVE this place!!!! Absolutely incredible coffees - both regular ones and fun ones like peanut butter mocha or iced biscoffee (both DIVINE! And vegan of course).
Read moreThe food is amazing - cooked so beautifully, quite wholesome, plenty of vegan options. Home baked breads and large cake selections. Lots of vegan options!!! Anything *V can be made vegan. I recommend vegan cheesy leek & mushroom toastie, the power bowl, coronation chickpea sandwich/toastie, and the hoisin tofu sarnie. Cake options get changed up and there’s always at least 1 vegan option.
The staff are really nice, professional yet friendly.
The place is decorated with quirky vibes, lots of prints and plants - some plants are for sale too.
And to top it all off theres a gorgeous view over the harbour!
It closes over the winter and I’m always so happy when it reopens. 🥰
Note it gets very busy weekend lunch times!
Toilets are gender neutral - note they are not wheelchair accessible.
Pros: Delicious range of vegan food and drinks, Stunning views over Harbour and quirky interior, Very good coffee
Cons: 50p charge for plant milks, Closes over the winter
