North Market Gem

Brezel is conveniently located inside of the North Market along side a ton of other great veg options. While their display case doesn't label what is and is not vegan, their staff has always been very knowledgeable. When I went they were separated by trays and it seemed to be that all pretzels were vegan unless it was completely obvious that it wasn’t- like it had cheese on it. What’s also nice is they have little pretzel rods for smaller appetites or the big pretzel for those who are ready to go all out. Dripping sauces were pretty self explanatory. I know I just got mustard, but I believe there was other vegan sauces to choose from also.

As for where to eat them- you can continue to walk around and take in the rest of the North Market while snacking, there is seating upstairs and also outside.

Vegan Sandwich Wednesday’s

Most of the pretzels are vegan except the ones with cheese as a topping. But the best thing is that every Wednesday they make a spicy seitan “chicken” sandwich. Very tasty!

Pros: Most pretzels are vegan

Cons: $5 per pretzel

Pretty good pretzels

This is an all pretzel place with some vegan dipping sauces. The pretzels taste fine. It is located in the North Market; there is seating upstairs, but you might want to simply buy the pretzel and eat while walking around.
