Vegan Breads and Desserts Gets 10 Stars!!! :D - Edit
Although Happy Cow will only allow a 4-star review of this establishment (because it's not 100% vegan), the Bread Factory is, hands-down(!), our favorite place to grab breads and desserts, as it offers a really large selection of vegan options (all clearly labeled). Being in Athens for a month (and only a short walk from our Airbnb), we pop into this enormous property at least a few times a week to grab awesome breakfast pastries (cinnamon rolls, chocolate danishes, glazed and sugar doughnuts), a myriad of cookies and small cakes to-go, savory pastries (potato, spinach, leek), olive focaccias, amazing loaf breads, at least a couple of luncheon sandwiches daily, and even a couple of sorbets! The space is always packed, very clean, nice check-out ladies, and even an upstairs mezzanine for eating-in (as well as an outdoor space, if you prefer, right on the main avenue--the contemporary museum is right across the street). Soft drinks, juices, water, and even a barista area are also available to wash it all down, if eating in. In short, if you're anywhere near the Neos Kosmos/Koukaki/Makrigianni neighborhoods, you simply NEED to check-out the Bread Factory!!! We are seriously gonna miss this place when we leave..... (Note: My pics depict non-vegan items, as well.)

Ideal for early starts - Edit
Open 24 hours, this place is great for mornings where you need to get up and head out without spending ages at a sit-down restaurant. They had tons of sweet and savoury options and the cinnamon bun (costing €1.29) was easily as good as ones I’ve had for 3-4x the price

Many vegan options - Edit
Very convenient and affordable place to swing in for vegan and vegetarian options. Everything is clearly labeled and what we tried was all very good. Coffee options are soy and almond milk. Open 24 hours as well, which is very convenient for early and late folks.

Full choices and so good! - Edit
Super big and with lots of vegan options🥰. We had a variety of pastries that were very good without necessarily having too much sugar. Everything is well marked for vegans and the staff is super friendly🤩. Warning, can be addictive!

Lots of useful items - Edit
This is a shop that has a bit of everything. It’s primarily a bakery, sure, but it also sells hot food, I’ve cream, and some useful dried goods such as quinoa, chia seeds and flax seeds.
Read moreEvery item in the store is labelled, and all vegan items include a green ‘vegan’ icon. That includes on some vegan ice cream, some vegan hot items (like vegan burgers), and a lot of baked good.
Even better, it’s open 24/7, so it’s a great place to stop on the way home for some drunk food.
Pros: Open 24/7, All vegan items are clearly marked

Great vegan options, market and deli - Edit
There are some good vegan options here. I got a vegan “chicken” sandwich which was really good. They also have vegan chocolates and other items like this vegan olive bread. Things are clearly marked. They also have a juice bar which was unfortunately not working when I went.

Great bread and great prices - Edit
We ducked in here looking for gluten free bread for a friend. Not only did they have several gluten free+ vegan loafs ( which she loved) but also had an assortment of bread sticks, cookies, sweet preserved desserts clearly marked vegan. We even got a super tasty vegan sandwich from the deli section. They had salads too.

Pros: Affordable , Many options
