Delicious opportunity to try Brazilian food as a vegan - Edit
As someone who has been vegan their entire adult life, it has made trying foods from different cultures very limiting. So finding out about Boteco having a vegan option (recommended by my Brazilian friends) was amazing. And not just a decent vegan option, but something I genuinely crave! The dish is called feijoada & you just have to try it. I've been a handful of times now & the vibes are just great. I love going!

My first time having Brazilian - Edit
I’ve been vegetarian since single digits and never found a Brazilian restaurant that offered anything other than steak. I’ve been passing Boteco for awhile and decided to check out their menu online and was pleasantly surprised to see they added a vegan version of a traditional Brazilian dish, feijoada, a year-ish ago.
Read moreThe polenta fries and cassava fries are also vegan. Unfortunately they don’t have a vegan aioli to accompany the polenta fries, but you can dip it in the feijoada. The feijoada is made with Beyond sausage, which fooled our meat eating friends. We thought they had mixed up orders!
The owners are very friendly and bd the service was great. The patio is also a nice space for those who don’t want to dine indoors.
Pros: Delicious feijoada, Vegan sides, Outdoor heated patio
Cons: No vegan aioli or vegan cheese
