Endlich mal wieder klassisch-deftige Wirtshausküche! Der Entenbraten und die Lupinenschnetzel mit Pilzsoße waren super, genauso der Kaiserschmarrn zum Nachtisch (hat uns eine Portion zu zweit gereicht).

Authentische vegane Gaststätten-Erfahrung - Edit
Wir hatten die blumenkohl-wings, die vegane ente, Tiroler Schlutzkrapfen und Kaiserschmarn. Alles war sehr gut. Bei der veganen Ente hätte ich mir mehr Nuancen in der Soße gewünscht (bisschen Schärfe, bisschen Säure, diesdas) und ich hatte das Gefühl, dass die Ente ein eingekauftes Fertigprodukt war. Das fand ich schade.

Wir waren etwas irritiert davon, dass wir uns reinsetzen mussten, während draußen sehr viel frei war. Es füllte sich etwas, jedoch waren weiterhin noch Plätze draußen frei, als wir gingen. Trotzdem schön, dass wir ohne Reservierung essen konnten.
Leider binäre Toiletten.

Preislich war es allerdings ein wenig zu teuer für das, was man bekommt. Der Service war ziemlich langsam, es brauchte eine Weile die Aufmerksamkeit der Kellner*innen zu bekommen.

This place is insanely good. Like, I’m not sure I’ll be able to eat anywhere else while I’m in Nuremberg. It’s that good. I liked having the option of more traditional German fare. I had the schnitzel, and holy mackerel! It was outstanding! Best meal I’ve had on my entire vacation, and I’m on week two!

Leider waren die Käsespätzle und das Schnitzel aus, sonst wären es 5 Sterne gewesen. Denn es war sehr, sehr lecker! Es ist relativ teuer, aber es lohnt sich! Das Biergarten Ambiente und das Personal ist auch sehr nett.

Read moreHeute waren wir zum ersten Mal bei Bodhi Nürnberg. Wir hatten die Buffalo Wings, das Schnitzel mit Kartoffelsalat und die Käsespätzle. Alles war wirklich sehr lecker.
Es gibt einen tollen Biergarten und die Bedienungen sind super freundlich.
Das wird nicht unser letzter Besuch gewesen sein :)

Bodhi was on our list for quite a while. Never managed to go there. Expectations before going there were through the roof to say the least. We shared the Buffalo Wings as well as the Schnitzel and Pfanderl. The personal favorite was the Schnitzel. The potato salad was fresh and had a nice touch with the Tofu and fried Onions. Schnitzel was super crunchy and had nice texture. Same goes to the Pfanderl, which lacked a bit of flavor in the sauce. Overall atmosphere is great so would go again.

I love the traditional German pub vibe of this place. The vegam duck dish was over 22 Euros, so certainly not inexpensive bar food. The dish was flavorful and what you would expect based on the photos of the dish I uploaded.

Very interesting place; it is part of a house somehow. It was somewhat difficult to find the entrance in the night. There was a shower in the bathroom on the second floor. The music was rock / pop like "Should I stay or should I go by The Clash". The waiter was very cool and felt like he belonged in Berlin.

The highlight was the Buffalo Wings. They were very tasty. The Schnitzel was good but a bit disappointing. I felt like I've had better vegan Schnitzel elsewhere. The Mousse a Chocolat was beautiful and tasted well. The Moscow Mule was disappointing. To me it tasted way too little of ginger beer.

The food looks really nice and authentic, and also the location itself is pretty cool. However the food wasn’t really great. It wasn’t bad or anything, but it just didn’t have such an intense taste. Especially the vegan duck tasted pretty basic, I’ve already tried many better plant-based versions. Also quite expensive.

Ich liebe die Location und das Essen ist gut, aber es ist einfach viel zu teuer (4 Euro oder 4,50 extra für einen Kartoffelknödel)! Das Blaukraut ist immer verkocht und die Soße schmeckt oft nur nach Salz. Der Kaiserschmarrn hat eine komische Kuchen-Textur. Aber wenn man weiß welche die besseren Gerichte sind, geht's. Mein Tipp: Schnitzel und Germknödel
