Best Dim Sum - Edit
I’ve been coming here for years long before I have up meat. The owner is really committed to making a fine dining experience with an array of dim sum offerings. My favorite is the Durian pastry! A must try

My favorite restaurant in New York City - Edit
This place is just all around amazing. I haven’t quite tried to entire menu, but close, and I’ve never been short of amazed. I highly recommend any of the dim sum items, sushi rolls, and the bbq meat; but whatever you order is more than likely going to be wonderful.

Amazing food! - Edit
This place is so delicious! Everything we ordered was good. I love the mock chicken they use in the dishes like sesame chicken and sweet and sour chicken. The won ton soup is excellent.

Tasty chinese, faux-meat place - Edit
This is in the heart of NYC's Chinatown. It serves standard chinese food--but all vegan. The food is quite tasty, and the portions are generous--you will be stuffed. It is not necessarily a healthy place, with a lot of faux-meats, but for those who love--and perhaps miss--Chinese food, this place is a winner. They have also added vegan sushi. Good, though I feel Jisu in Chinatown is better (though not so centrally located), and LuAnn's Wild Ginger near Chinatown is the best of the lot.

Fantastic Chinese Food - Edit
We love Chinese food and the menu here is great with loads of mock meat options. The food was tasty, the staff friendly and it is really good value. We had the lunchtime menu which includes a soup or springroll plus a main dish for $7.50. Sweet and sour fried 'chicken' and 'lamb' with vegetables and garlic sauce were both delicious and a great size. We were persuaded to try the cheesecake despite being full and it was worth finding space for!

Impeccable! - Edit
I don’t even know where to begin. I was blown away by the food, the fact that there’s a 100% vegan traditional Chinatown restaurant, and the friendliness of the staff. This is where it’s at! I got the chicken lo mein, my mom got fried rice, and we both loved each dish. I’ll definitely be back!

The Best Vege Restaurant in NYC - Edit
This establishment is run by the original creator/owner of Buddha Bodai on Mott Street [which was taken over by his landlord in a hostile fashion]. The karma is much better here,at 77 Mulberry Street. The food is as delicious as ever. Exceedingly friendly and helpful staff.

I've missed dim sum so much! - Edit
I haven’t had Dim Sum in years, so I was so excited to find this little gem! Their BBQ “meat” is totally delicious and there’s a great selection of vegan dim sum and other classic Chinese options. Cheap food, friendly atmosphere, and delicious flavors. Will definitely be visiting again!

So many excellent choices! - Edit
Came here with an omni friend and he loved it! I’m a huge fan of fake meat, so I was in heaven here. Love the bbq. The dumplings are also amazing. It’s pretty cheap, so you can order a ton of dishes and enjoy family style. Good for groups.

Vegan Dim Sum Heaven! - Edit
As someone who grew up with Dim Sum, I was sad when becoming vegan also meant parting with one of my cherished gathering activities. I don't have similar options where I live, but on a recent trip to NYC I got to try this place, and I'm so so happy! Food was flavorful, true to the originals, and I eat happily not having to ask or wonder whether each dish inadvertently has meat "hidden." The staff there are so kind and helpful.

Incredible! - Edit
We got to this buddha bodai because the other one was full...boy were we happy when we arrived and found this bodai to be warmer, friendlier and less crowded which created a nice environment for us to just sit and enjoy the food. We had chick'n chowfun, some general tso chik'n ...tried many dumplings and fried rolls ..it was a true feast. The plates were generous and so flavorful...I cant wait to go back!

All vegan extensive menu at a great price (especially at lunch time, it's like 8 bucks). I ate there 5 times during my 2 week stay in NYC :D Non-veg boyfriend loved it as well, he wouldnt believe the chicken was faux at first.

Wow amazing Chinese food! 2 vegans, 2 veggies and 2 omnis left here happy! - Edit
Excellent meal for 6 whilst on our short NYC trip. Researched before hand on happy cow, personal recommendations and trip advisor and came across this place by accident. We were all very happy with our food. Only problem was that we ordered too much! They will pack it up though if there is anything left and we gave it to a homeless person.

מסעדה נהדרת, בעל בית נעים. אכלנו את ה"עוף" בסומסום והיה מושלם. גם הדים סאן והנודלס מצויינים. האווירה נעימה, המנות גדולות. שווה מאוד.

Completely Vegan and well worth the trip - Edit
This place is completely vegan. I eat here every time I am in the city. It is well worth the trip to ChinaTown. My non-vegan friends love every dish. Good service with great use of spices. Great selection from Chinese dishes to dim sum to sushi.......all Vegan. My wife and kids love this place too. Highly recommended if you are looking for great quality all vegan Chinese food.
