Vegetarian market with restaurant upstairs offering buffet with mock meat and tofu dishes, pho, congee, salads, and fruit. Also has a la carte menu. Menu appears to be all-vegan except for possible dairy, such as in milkshakes. The market sells a variety of foodstuff, including seeds, dried pasta/noodles, and mock meats: the only non-vegan item appears to be honey. Associated with Quan Su Temple next door. Location is a 5-minute walk from Hanoi railway station: from the station go straight on then second road on left.

Good mock meats

Just go for ala carte when the lady offers you the buffet. There are a lot of choices. Very local Vietnamese style food with different clever mock meats like chicken and fish. It's also really cheap. Near hoa lo prison.

Pros: Cheap, Many choices, Good local food

Cons: Not so good setting

healthy but not very special

the food was alright. very healthy i would say, but also not very special. there were no spices used in my meal and it tasted a bit boring. but they had a hugh menu, so if you try something else (I had the tofu combo) it will be better I guess.

It is OK!

I regularly go Bo De on Quan Su as it is convenient and the food is OK. Good rice.

It is pretty convenient to the railway station for people heading south on the train.

It doesn't really deserve just 3 star ratings, as it is a decent, clean and large Vietnamese vegetarian place - this is what vegetarian is like in Vietnam. It isn't pretentious or 'creative' as such.

It passed my Vietnamese friend's taste test, although it isn't exactly a standout, just good.

I usually get the 60 000 VND set (Xuat 60 000) - it has fake fish, but it is not at all fishy, just the taste of the tomato sauce (sot ca).

There are cheaper set options (as low as 30 000) and one can order individual dishes too.

They have a buffet on Buddhist days - this is expensive at 150 000 VND but was one of the best I have had of this setup that is quite common with restaurants associated with a pagoda. The choice and taste were great.

Oh, and they sell beer, both with alcohol and without.

And if the television bothers you, sit the other way. It doesn't have any sound.

Pros: Food is standard, but nice., Relaxed, They know me

Cons: Not a really fancy gourmet experience

pretty good

My friend and I got the set menu, and it was pretty good, though nothing special. A decent veg Buddhist option.

affordable but nothing special

Went there a few days ago. I expected more. English menu but "mock" options are called chicken, pork, beef so it was confusing. Just the daughter of waitress speaks little English. I had fried noodles with vegetables. Was not great, oily and many mushrooms. Atmosphere was weird too because of the big TV screen, ugly interior and sounds of kids playing video games. They have cheaper lunch deals with a buffet, à la carte for diner.

Pros: English menu, affordable, location

Pleasant, Near Train Station, Wifi

Modern restaurant, friendly staff. Managed to get a (Vietnamese) coffee with soya milk.

Food nearly all vegan, milk in drinks.

There is also a basic veggie sandwich /pho stall on the other side of the road if you just need something basic

Pros: Convenient , Clean, Cheap

Nothing Special

Some restaurants related to religious institutions offer unique experiences. This one was rather bland and its kitchen unimaginative. But with 50000 Dong ($2.34) for a full meal with soup it's still affordable even for Hanoi, the seating is comfortable and no bad pop music annoys one's ear.
The waitress insisted it's open from 7am till 9pm, other sources say it's open from 9am.

Pros: comfortable, affordable, spacious

Cons: unimaginative
