Read moreFood (2.5/5): NOT SAFE FOR VEGANS. The pad Thai was very yummy. Tom Kha was of lower quality, sugary, & lacking flavor. Also, two different employees told me two different things about whether a dish was vegan or not. Manager confirmed that the hostess was right, not the waiter who asked the cook for me. Would never go here again based on this. Can not trust what they say re: ingredients. DO NOT GO HERE. Also expensive & small portions. Also not even traditional Thai food. They’re adding butter to yellow curry.
Service (1/5): I subbed some vegetables & the waiter didn’t tell me subbing anything would be extra. I didn’t find out until it showed on my bill. The waiter (Jeremiah?) passed by me three or four times after dropping off our meal to ask if we needed anything. We did need something. When the waiter did speak to me, he got too close for comfort also, every time. (creepy).… I brought up the charges on the bill to the waiter & he quickly defaulted to the manager. So I told her I was never informed they were extra & she basically told me there was nothing she could do, while fumbling through the menu and failing to find even small print about substitutions. I told her, since she was there, about the vegan thing, & she didn’t even give an apology. I wish I said something about the creepy waiter, but I imagine she wouldn’t care.
Atmosphere (5/5): Super cool. If the food & service were better, this place would be rad. It’s like a little museum.
TL;DR: Unsafe as a vegan. Rude & inappropriate staff. Don’t go.

Overhyped and Hit or Miss (Miss over Hit) - Edit
The first time I went there once at it was the best Thai I had in ages. The next 3 times I went it was so poorly prepped and sugary. But I had to give it another chance. Noooo too bad it never hit the same way again. Noodles were falling apart and undercooked. Curry was more sugar than flavorful. So did they lose a chef or does he work only one day a week? Or certain shifts? Not sure but I've given up on it.

So many vegan entree options here, plus many others that can be made vegan upon request. A very vegan friendly restaurant. Food was delicious and plentiful.

Treated active duty and vets so well and kindness throughout the whole restaurant. Looking forward to going back, the food was without a question delicious! Alcohol is half off on MONDAYS!

Our go-to for Thai. They did an incredible job transforming the interior and added a beautiful garden seating area outside. Service is great. Food is excellent. Overall the best Thai in Jacksonville IMO.
