Best vegan sushi I've ever had! - Edit
I've been eating the cucumber rolls from Whole Foods for so long that I've forgotten what sushi should be. We had the omakase which was miso soup, goyza, and 7 varieties of sushi. The best I've had. Nice decor and great service. If I lived here, I'd visit often.
Read morePros: All vegan , Variety, texture and presentation of sushi , Miso soup also excellent

I love this place. Everything about it is perfect. The peanut sauce with the gyoza is amazing.

Good vegan sushi - Edit
The sushi is good but I’ve definitely had way better vegan sushi. There are a lot of items with fake meat (like the konjac salmon), which I’m not a fan.

I’ve been to bloom sushi a handful of times, and I’m never disappointed.
Read moreThe restaurant itself is beautiful decorated, with stunning low light and living walls covered in moss.
I always order one of the bundles, which include a miso soup, gyoza and a variety of different sushi from the menu (chef’s choice). This is a nice way to sample a lot of the menu, for a decent price. The food is delicious and all vegan. Would highly recommend for a fancier evening out in the city.
Pros: All vegan, Stunning restaurant , Good service
Cons: Pricier

Do not miss this place. - Edit
We visited from St Albans Vt, and were celebrating my 64th birthday. The food and service was utterly amazing. I have traveled the world and Bloom Sushi rates in my top 10. Our server was sweet and attentive. Bruno, the manager was involved in every aspect of the service over the whole restaurant. I am hard to impress and rarely tip above 15% as most service is mediocre. These folks got 30% . Highly reccomended getting the Omakasi Deluxe. We subbed the miso for an edamame. The choice of sushi is up to the chef. We had Goyza with an Almond Butter Kimichi dip, Crispy Rice Inari, Tempura Shisito, and more. Paired this with a nice crisp cold chardonnay. Atmosphere is great with a wonderful stone and brick old montreal decore. We will be back!

You must try this place! - Edit
Bloom est incroyablement bon! Tout était parfait. Les goûts sont si fins, si équilibrés, si justement assaisonnés! Bravo. Je vais en rêver longtemps. Le saumon végane est un grand mystère pour moi. Totalement réussi!

Bloom Sushi is the lovechild of Sushi Momo and Lov, and that should tell you all you need to know. Great location, great flavours, great service. I still prefer Sushi Momo for the cozier atmosphere with the dimmed lights though, and the greater selection.

Yummy sushi! - Edit
This restaurant interior is absolutely beautiful and there’s so much to take in. The heritage features of the brick wall especially nice.

Pros: Beautiful restaurant, Nice friendly accommodating staff, Great range of sushi rolls
Cons: Could have more dessert options

The food here is delightful. Everything we tried was complicated, interesting, and wonderful. From sake and sushi to dessert and tea, not a single item disappointed. My second favorite sushi place on the planet (after Shizen in San Francisco, which is not exactly close by).

The Omakase did not disappoint! The venue is gorgeous. I seriously want to buy all the decor, dishes and glasses. The staff were incredibly attentive too. Go here! I made a reso on OpenTable. Also, despite what Google says, the restaurant is now open on Tuesdays. Will definitely return.

Beautiful Spot - Edit
Nicely located in the Old Port of Montreal. Calming ambiance, friendly service, delicious vegan sushi, dumplings and innovative cocktails. The combo for 2 is a pretty good deal, it comes with 2 miso soups, 6 dumplings and 25 pieces of sushi for about 60$.

Just love - Edit
When you're 2 tourists who had a great, but long amd exhausting day and finally decide what you want to eat, the last thing you want is to be told to wait for at least 30 mins. We took another walk and were just to the point of "lets sleep standing right here right now" but we just could stand anymore. And we had to wait even longer. And longer. And the mood got down. Just when we decided we wanten to leave and just not eat at all we were seated. The vibes inside were so happy, we forgot about our fatigue soon. We totally loved the staff, the food, everything! Awesome! What a great place.

(Takeout) Not consistent - no sauces - Edit
Recently this place hasn’t been consistent (at least for takeout), they’re either on one side of the spectrum or the other. We order and it’s either super delicious and fresh, or the nori is super tough and it’s impossible to chew, the rice isn’t cooked enough and there’s way too much of it on the sushi’s, or it’ll either arrive with the panko nice and crispy, and other times all your sushi’s are super soggy - I guess because in a rush they’ll make their sushi’s with hot rice so it creates condensation in the packaging.
Read moreOf the 4-5 times we ordered takeout, it never came with the sauces that they advertise and what people would get drizzled on in the restaurant. It only comes with soy sauce….which is weird because sushi momo cofounded this place and and they add the sauce even if it’s takeout... So it just makes the sushi’s a little boring and way less good than they could be. I highly suggest asking them for extra spicy mayo or pesto on the side to drizzle it on yourself…I’ll have to try it in person and see if that’s an improvement.

great high-end sushi - Edit
Great vegan sushi! The food is delicious and artfully presented. It's kind of similar to Sushi Momo, yet different (but both are very good). I had the Kamikaze Tunato, Queen, and avocado hosomaki as part of the one-person combo, which also comes with miso soup and 3 gyoza. Highly recommend.
