Fantastic place, great vibe, friendly service - Edit
Came for evening meal after just landing in Bonn. On street parking eventually found. Walked in to a down to earth venue with a great vibe and friendly welcome.
Read moreWe chose from the main menu and had a mushroom salad, and a smoked tofu salad. Really simple yet so very tasty, thoroughly enjoyed it. Warm rye bread was served alongside.
Choosing from the cake cabinet I had a slice of chocolate nougat, and B had a cinnamon swirl

Sympathisch und lecker - Edit
Uns hat das Blackveg sehr gut gefallen. Von der Tageskarte hatten wir das Ratatouille mit Polentaecken, dazu einmal das Ciabatta "mit allem" und anschließend noch zwei leckere Stücke Kuchen. Uns hat alles gut geschmeckt, das Personal war sehr freundlich und die Preise echt in Ordnung. Einziges Manko war, dass wir recht lang auf das Essen gewartet haben, obwohl es jetzt nicht soo wahnsinnig voll war. Aber das war zu verkraften, da der Besuch insgesamt überzeugt hat!

Eins der besten Cafés in Bonn! - Edit
Ausschließlich vegane Auswahl mit täglich wechselnden leckeren Mahlzeiten sowie Kuchen und Torten. Besonders zu empfehlen ist aber der Döner an jedem Freitag. Sonntag gibt es auch drei verschiedene vegane Frühstückmenüs, von denen das Englische sehr zu empfehlen ist.

Fairly simple home style offerings but I thought the price was reasonable. The cakes looked amazing too. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a black bean burger with fried potatoes and aioli, which was delicious.

Experience from some months ago : Went there fairly late and they were about to close the kitchen. I asked if it would be able to get some food, they agreed to ask the staff in the kitchen and lucky me got a nice soup. Overall very positive impression, the food was nice and decently priced.

Tolles veganes Cafe und Bistro. Die Speisekarte ist zwar überschaubar aber dafür sind die Gerichte einfach lecker. Am Freitag ist immer Dönertag. Zudem kann man sich ein Überraschungsbier bestellen. Das Ambiente ist locker, freundlich und aufgeschlossen. Eine Perle in der Bonner Altstadt.

Direkt neben dem Frankenbad gelegen in einer ruhigen Ecke. Preise sind im Vergleich zu anderen Lokalen echt günstig, Kaffee ist vllt nicht der leckerste aber alles in allem waren wir begeistert ! The BlackVeg exists since a few years now and I’ve been there even before I started to be vegan. They offer delicious breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and cake. Especially the vegan Döner on Friday is a highlight. Located in Bonn’s old town the Café has the typical feeling of the old buildings in that part of the city.

First impression: A nice alternative café. The food we had was good. The waitresses were in a lot of hurry, maybe because they were understaffed due to covid (went there in the fall of 2022), as it happens. However, there was also a male employee who treated his colleagues in a very aggressive and hurtful way. It was uncomfortable to watch. We decided against having a coffee after our lunch and left.

Great cake in a relaxed atmosphere - Edit
I had a vegan cheese cake that was very delicious. They also had rhubarb cake, snickers cake and chocolate tarte. My milk coffee was huge and also very good. The service is very friendly and quick and I really enjoyed the relaxed and calm atmosphere. It's not a random "hipster healthy all vegan coffee place" but a cool, authentic and homey place to enjoy vegan comfort food 😊
