Vegan options were not mentioned on the menu so I had to ask for them and the options were very limited. I got a wrap with smoked tofu and veggies and some guacamole and salad on the side. Food was nice en service was good.

My boyfriend and I both got the vegan bowl. It was a bowl of raw vegetables, raw tofu, raw seitan and undercooked rice with no dressing. It was food made by someone who had never actually eaten or had any interest in producing edible vegan food. They also serve veal and the restaurant smells like cooking steak. gross.

Vegetarian and vegan food is not available on every corner in Croatia. Besides, in the city center of Split, Italian food is what is served.

This place has a nice atmosphere and a big sign in front that says “Vegan Options.” However, the seasonal salad came totally dry (no dressing of any kind), and the vegan bowl was the same (cold tofu, rice, lettuce, and a few other items). The service was very friendly, but unfortunately this was an example of simply taking animal products out of dishes and not replacing them with anything. If I wanted pure vegetables, I would go to the farmer’s market and eat there. The white sangria was delicious!

We ate the vegan wrap with both tofu and seitan and ordered the vegan rice bowl for our 4-year-old. Food was quite well made with versatile seasonal veggies & side salads, but a bit tasteless & bland - as if no salt or spices were used. Guacamole was excellent: if I could re-do our experience, I would order a big bowl of guac on the side & use it to spice up the food. We asked the waitress to make a smaller portion for the child, but his meal came out of the kitchen all big and fancy neverhteless. Oh, the seitan was really bad, tasteless rubber! Terrace was atmospheric and servic friendly, although a bit slow.

Okay vegan options - Edit
We ordered the vege burrito made vegan and the vegan bowl. Both were okay but nothing special! Vege burrito they just took out the cheese and sour cream but didn’t replace with tofu, seitan, vegan cheese or anything. Vegan bowl listed rice etc so I was kind of expecting a warm burrito bowl style dish but it was cold cubes of tofu, cold green beans, not even any avocado, beans or dressing! Wouldn’t bother coming back but it was quick and convenient

Overall pretty good place. Many vegan options, I had the seitan wrap witch was good but needed a dash of hotsauce to get really nice, the guacamole was really really nice. Would recommend for a quick lunch but maybe not quite as much for late night dinner.

Who makes the seitan?! - Edit
Rolled up at 9.30 after a couple of beers. Super friendly staff, couple of vegan take out options. Plumped for the seitan wrap with a side of chips/fries. The good, very quick service, very friendly staff, chips/fries are wicked, guacamole was good. The bad, who makes that Seitan?!?! I make my own at home, it's not difficult, but this was rubbery and squeaked against your teeth and pretty tasteless. I really hope someone reads this and takes notice, cos I hope their vegan clientele grows. I hate criticizing, but that Seitan was terrible. There's a vegan take out place across the road, open during the day that did me a Seitan wrap and it was in a different league. Please, please review your recipe, cos I'll be back in Split soon and I want to see your vegan business thrive. Being vegan doesn't mean you lose your taste receptors.

vegan options abound. - Edit
I was so grateful to find this place as veganism is not exactly front and center here in split Croatia… They were very gracious and knew exactly where to show me on the menu for my options. Delicious with a Mexican flare. Food came quickly which is good because I'm always in a hurry. Very cozy and romantic spot on a side street. want to come back at night and get a nice bottle of wine!

Starter: Had the vegetarian nachos with tofu instead of cheese - so yum!! Corn chips, tomato salsa, guacamole, zucchini, corn and pieces of firm peppered tofu throughout.

Shame it serves meat. However, the staff were extremely friendly especially one man in particular. There was a couple vegan choices. I had a curry and it was delicious. Very popular here people always waiting for seats so come early to dine or come early to book a table.
