Read moreThe staff is very friendly, everything is fresh, but that also means they can run out of some menu options by the end of the day or week.
If you want a vegan experience that is definitely a place to check out. If you tight on money there are other options in the city, since the plates are rather small and expensive.

The food here is astonishing! I have chosen to eat vegan food for a while now but my husband is a carnivore and even he was extremely impressed. The dishes here are invented and cooked by a team of chefs including Edi who was delightful. They push the boundaries with respect to originality, taste and presentation. What I had, for me, matched up to food that some of the best chefs have presented on Masterchef and what I have eaten at Michelin star restaurants on the rare but memorable occasions that I have been. The cost is appreciably less though and their lunch deal is amazing. There is another vegan restaurant in Ljubljana that we also tried - Gujžina - which falls a long way short of this place - dreadful service, dry food and more expensive!

Read moreThe ginger cocktail was nice. I ordered the lunch combination of main meal plus minestrone. The soup was unlike any minestrone I’ve seen; I would describe it as a chickpea stew - no pasta in it, not tomatoey, just chickpeas, zucchini and creamy sauce. Nice taste, but a full-sized bowl is too filling as a prelude to a meal. The “BBQ ribs (made out of corn)” were strips of corn-on-the–cob spread with barbecue sauce. Unfortunately, the corn was tough (too long a cooking time?). The potato wedges and green peas were dry and unseasoned.
I'm usually very complimentary about all-vegan restaurants, but I can't be this time.

We were very happy to be able to try local dishes in a vegetarian version. The menu isn’t very long but dumplings were great and the chef recommended a dish that wasn’t on the menu. We also tried it and it was incredible. The best fake-filet mignon I had ever tried. We will come back next time we come to Slovenia!

We had a great lunch here. The offer is a lunch dish and soup/salad/dessert for only 13 or 14€. With large portion and delicious food this is a great deal. Regardless we would want to come back for dinner as there were more and interesting options on that menu.

We shared a cream soup with mushrooms and had a main dish each, a lasagna and salad. As a dessert we shared the caramelised figs with cream. Everything was very tasty and beautifully presented.

(Original review is from 2021, the place has been renamed and changed the menu since then) They usually have three to four dishes available, mostly bowls and salads, although it seems they have added soups and a dessert now (October 2021). The price for bowls is around 9-9.50€.

They use interesting ingredients, the portions are generous and they seem very heathy.
I did notice that some dishes and especially some ingredients (like the soy meat or the Amaze meat patty) are often too heavily salted (but not too spicy) and I always find myself craving water right after eating.
The indoor space is medium sized, very clean and cozy. There is only one table outside at the moment and not sure if it’s possible to sit there.
Eco packaging but the lid is plastic.

The mushroom burger was wonderful, the potatoes were dry, not baked enough and not salty enough, while juicy marbles dish was also a bit flavorless, especially the sauce, though the pastry thing with tofu was really nice.

A menu filled with interesting flavour combinations. Two high end starters, a palette cleanser between courses and a main at a great price. Would have liked a bit more depth to the fruity red wine sauce, more succulent dauphinois and possibly the mushroom salted before cooking. Worth the visit!
