Piccolo locale nel centro storico di Verona a un passo da piazza delle Erbe, in cui mi sono fermata per pranzare dopo una visita al vicino Palazzo Maffei.

Io ho preso la Hummus che mi è piaciuta parecchio, specie per l'impasto, ma mi ha deluso per la non esatta corrispondenza tra ingredienti indicati nel menù e ingredienti effettivi: la scorza di limone non c'era e il cavolo nero è stato sostituito da una verdura che sembrava bieta.
Nonostante ciò, lo consiglio!
Hanno anche qualche dolcetto vegano (che non guasta).
Il locale è piccolo per cui si può trovare un po' di confusione. Con la bella stagione si possono però sfruttare i tavoli sotto il portico.

The restaurant's location was great, right in the city center. While there was a relatively small selection of vegan options, they were clearly labeled. I had the Mediterranean pizza, which was topped with onions and olives. The pizza tasted great and the price was reasonable, too.

The pizzas here are very tasty! We are vegetarians, and the two options we ordered were more than great! The server was very nice, and they actually found us a table downstairs, without a booking (we went around 7.30pm/8pm.... when we left, there were people waiting to be seated).
Read moreDownstairs things got noisy, though, because the place is not so big, and because one table had a group that talked very loudly, so if you have issues with this maybe avoid.
The pizzas we had were the Ortolana and the Norma.

I was pleased to find that Berbere is participating in Veganuary with a special pizza with chickpea hummus, mushrooms, winter tomatoes, coriander, sesame and lemon zest. I recommend ordering the hummus dipping sauce for the edges. The escarole and arugula salad was an excellent accompaniment. There is sorbet for dessert, but I was too full to try it. We enjoyed the venue - cheerful and informal. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. The location is super convenient, right next to the Piazza Erbe. We'll definitely go again if we come back to Verona.

Vegan pizza = pizza without cheese - Edit
I read on the app there were three vegan pizzas but when asking the staff it meant every pizza is vegan without cheese. I thought this was a pity. Upon asking I was able to create my own pizza, very friendly.

One pizza was burned and the vegan pizza’s are way to basic. Would be better with some grilled vegetables, pesto and/or vegan cheese. Non-vegan pizza’s are not awsome. Have eaten better
