Well stuffed Daifuku and tasty - Edit
Just a few minutes from the station you’ll find Ben Zai Ten on a streetcorner selling their very plump Daifuku.
Read moreI’ve so far only tried two of the ones they are selling, but to my surprise there was a whole tangerine in one, not just a few pieces but a whole one! That was a very pleasant surprise!
The Daifuku are really tasty with a great texture and the fruit inside is incredible!
Looking forward to try the peanutbutter one 🤭

Hugely overrated - Edit
Had the sweet lemon and the apple daifuku. They were nothing special. Fruit with a smeering of powdery mochi. Massively overpriced. Not worth the visit.
Read moreHad better daifuku from random shops that cost 1/4 the price
Cons: Price, Taste

Mochi - Edit
This is my first time trying Mochi and ‘Ben Zai Ten’ offers vegan mochi!
Read moreThe fruit was delicious and the packaging super cute.
I don’t think that I will try mochi again, I don’t think I liked the texture. But if you are a mochi fan, you should definitely come!

Great cold sweet treat - Edit
Happened to come across this place, and so glad I did! I love the twists on the classic mochi and daifuku. Hard to pick a favorite flavor! The persimmon and musk melon were especially nice on a hot, early autumn day.

Fresh Fruit Vegan Mochi - Edit
Clearly labelled vegan mochi with fresh fruit inside, instead of a paste or ice cream. The fruit is perfectly ripe and gives a very different experience. They also have other flavours. Definitely worth a try, even if a bit on the pricey side.

Vegan daifuku - Edit
This place is a must. They have a variety of vegan daifuku/mochis. As an European I do not recommend the fruit ones, since they are on the pricey side, but the peanut / toasted soy / coffee mochis are must. Their flavour was just stunning!

Vegan Daifuku - Edit
The fruit ones are a little on the expensive side compared to other daifukus we had while we japan, but everything is delicious! We loved the peanut and sesame one.

They sell mochis containing fruits. The fruits were very delicious, however, my wife didn’t like the mochi itself. It didn’t have any taste.

Sehr lecker, aber auch teuer - Edit
Wir haben uns dort einen Strawberry Mochi geholt und fanden den sehr sehr lecker. Allerdings ist es für so ein kleines Mochi doch sehr viel Geld was man ausgibt.

Best mochi ever - Edit
A mochi shop with very tasty fruits inside, perhaps one of the most delicious dishes that I have tasted in Japan. There are quite a lot of flavors, they can be cut into pieces if you need to share them, or they will pack them with you in a beautiful package. The girl at the checkout is very nice, credit cards are accepted.

Delicious fruit mochi, but expensive - Edit
Fruit filled mochi. The dough is very thin, but the fruits are very tasty and fresh.
Read moreA bit expensive though, which makes sense considering how expensive fruits are in Japan.

Super good fruit mochi - Edit
After free kiwi-samples, we got the kiwi one (which was massive; 600 yen) and a watermelon one (which was not as big; 500 yen). Both good and refreshing.
Read moreWe recommend the kiwi one for sure!
But they have many more fruit mochi.
They cut the mochi for you on request, which makes it even more convenient to snack.
Just a little food stall on the corner of the street. But they do have a couple chairs out front.
Pros: All vegan, Great snack, Free samples
