Good food, party vibes - Edit
I went to Bar Vegan for brunch one Sunday. But found they do not have a brunch menu even though it was on the website. Even so we enjoyed the food. We split the cheesesteak egg roll appetizer and glazed Brussels sprouts. Both were very tasty. The egg roll had a lot of filling and the Brussels were tender crisp which was great. Our mains were the general tso chik’n and the seafood burrito. Both were portions big enough to split. We ended up taking leftovers. The seafood burrito, made with mushrooms, was salty and the waitstaff was aware as she ask about it afterwards. I think it has since been taken off the menu. The atmosphere was nice. Spacious with room between tables and a nice bar. One thing is the music, gospel on that sunday, was super loud. The volume can be turned down about 30%. I will give it another try at some point.

Great new spot - Edit
The only two things I don’t like about bar vegan is that the food menu is small (though the food that is available is excellent) & the atmosphere is loud. This isn’t a place to go for conversation.

Deep Fried Vibes - Edit
Pinky Cole knows what people crave for a night of indulgence. Bar Vegan isn’t the place to look for vegetables prepared in unique ways, when you enter the door forget fat and forget calories. It’s a modern take on a sports bar, TVs abound, dark tables, bright lights, and a live DJ many nights. The menu is fairly small, but many uncommon vegan items, onion rings, Philly cheesesteak eggrolls, street corn, and you barely know they’re vegan. It’s certainly going to be a thriving date spot or hangout in the rebuilt Baltimore Peninsula.

This will be my go-to spot once the weather breaks! - Edit
Great spot for a date night, to hang with your girlfriends/guy friends or to have a drink and bite to eat alone (they have huge televisions by the bar). Beautiful interior with lots of seating and they even have a few tables outside. Portion sizes are perfect. Enough to feel satiated and large enough to split, if you want. The bar staff was top notch but the front of the house could stand to be a bit more attentive and welcoming. Overall, a lovely spot and I’m glad they are here in Bmore.
