Anthony Bourdain recommended the meat version. I recommend the avocado, tofu and peanut butter. Generous fillings, flavour the lingers delightfully in the mouth. Most incredible coriander I’ve ever encountered. Only criticism is that it’s the only option

One vegan option of the banh mi chay for 35k which has avocado, tofu and peanut butter. Uses fresh ingredients so even a simple banh mi tastes delicious. I’ve never had a banh mi with peanut butter in it before, but I think it elevates the nuttiness and creaminess of the avocado. Could do with more options, but you can probably customise the banh mi chay during non peak hours (during the evening it was very busy). Would recommend for the novelty of eating an Anthony Bourdain spot and quick bite around ancient town.

The vegan banh mi was ok but I don’t understand the hype. Maybe it’s the other options then but mine didn’t even have coriander/cilantro in it. Would choose any full vegan/vegetarian stall instead… plenty of better options in town
