Want one of the best vegan bánh mi in the city? Look no further. Come here. It's worth crossing at least half the city to try. The homemade vegan mayonnaise is amazing. The fresh bread is crispy. Plenty of filling. Friendly owner and staff. Payment by cash or bank transfer.

The couple running the stall are very friendly and understand vegan - the whole family is vegan (unfortunately in Vietnam some think vegan/vegetarian are the same). The sauce that looks as if it could be non vegan is made with soya milk. They were so pleased to have a foreign customer they wanted to photograph me in front of the cart and holding a banh mi. The banh mi are very tasty and cost 20k. Give them a try if you’re nearby. They close at 9.30am every day.
