Instructions - Edit
1. Approach from the water side and look for the image from Happy Cow to recognise the building (Amap shows entrance from the street)
Read more2. Scan the QR code with Alipay, select and pay there (maybe there are other options, I haven’t tried)
I know others have written that, but those two steps make it simple. Then you can have an amazing experience among Chinese locals with Chinese food which after my experience is more rare since vegan restaurants are often tourist places. I really enjoyed it here very much.

Great Food! 美味的食物 - Edit
This is a great plant-based Chinese restaurant with affordable food. I got ramen, skewers, and a seaweed side (all pictured). In total it cost less than 50RMB (~7USD).
Read moreYou order food on a page (open on Alipay or WeChat) and can use the app’s translation feature to see English names. I used a translation app to communicate with the server since I do not know a lot of Mandarin.
There is a small grocery store on your way into the restaurant if you enter from the street side.

Lovely & great value for money - Edit
Huge variety, generous portions, and excellent prices. Super friendly staff!
Read more🍽 Favorite dishes: Vegan egg, skewers, and the okra dish.
P.S. The orange juice was also divine!
💚 I loved that this place isn’t geared toward tourists—most of the guests at other tables seemed to be locals, which added to the charm. By the way, the place was quite big and packed.
➕ Bonus: There’s a small grocery shop in the back that, as far as I could tell, is also fully vegan. We picked up a few instant noodle cups to take to the airport, which turned out to be a great idea—vegan options at Chinese airports are limited, but hot water is available everywhere.
📌 The place was a bit tricky to find. I recommend approaching from the riverside. The storefront is shown in one of the photos here on HappyCow—it has a yellow sign that says "Bestease."

Extensive menu with many yummy dishes - Edit
Nice vegan restaurant in a nice serene area near a canal. A lot of options; we opted for two noodles soups which were good though not outstanding. The vegan egg and the vegan yogurt were really good however. The skewers were nice but could’ve had more flavor. Still, it’s a great option for vegans in Beijing.

Too good - Edit
For only 36 yuan you get a huge bowl of ramen, a skewer and a vegan egg.
Read moreThe restaurant is lovely and the staff just speaks Chinese but they’ll do their best to help you. I went at 7.30 and it was packed.
We also tried the dumplings (I ordered the ones that said “mushroom” in the app after translation) and they’re the best I’ve had in China! They came with 2 fillings and both were delicious.
Bewareeee the ramen is huge and the dumplings are way too many.

Loved it! - Edit
The food was delicious and expertly prepared. At 20:00, the restaurant was mostly empty, which was odd. I ordered three dishes, thinking the portions would be small. Ten minutes later, I realized the portions were actually quite generous. I’m sure the waiter must have thought I was crazy for ordering so much food for just myself. 😆

Very nice place! - Edit
We were there twice. First time a young man of the stuff was super friendly and even showed us the food on pictures on his phone (the english menu did not have pictures). Second time the communication with chinese staff was a bit more complicated, but manageable.

Amazing vegan "egg" - Edit
Delicious food and very cheap! As someone else said you have to taste the vegan egg, it's very convincing as so tasty. I paid 36cny total for the egg, the ramen and the skewer. Every single item that I took tasted amazing.

Absolutely delicious, great prices - Edit
This restaurant specializes in ramen and noodle dishes. Both times I've been there, the food has been excellent, plus the prices are very good. The front door is located along a nice riverside pedestrian path, and although it is possible to get to the restaurant from the street side, it was confusing navigating through the back of the building to get there. There is an English menu although some dish names can be quite confusing due to mistranslations. I highly recommend anyone to come visit this restaurant when in Beijing.

Great vegan noodle/meat place - Edit
They have a pretty large menu and the food is incredibly cheap, especially after coming from the very expensive United States. Great bang for your buck!
Read moreSometimes navigation will take you to the street on the other side of this restaurant, so if you’re having a hard time finding it make sure that you are on the river side. You can’t drive up to the entrance of this restaurant, as it is on a riverwalk that is pedestrian only. But there’s entrances to the path by the river every few hundred meters or so, so it shouldn’t take long to find one.
Pros: Very convincing vegan substitutes, Inexpensive , Pretty location
Cons: Not really a con, but staff doesn’t speak English
