Healthy options for vegans in Nashville - Edit
As much as I love vegan junk food, sometimes, especially in summer, my body craves some healthy food. But just because you want something healthy doesn't mean you want something boring and that's where Avo delivers.
Read moreSet in the OneC1ty development (along with Kokos Ice Cream Shop), Avo offers indoor seating, bar seating, and a small patio next to a sand volleyball court. You wouldn't guess Avo is inside an actual shipping container because the interior feels so spacious despite it being small in reality.
Food here is excellent and always packed full of balanced flavors and nutrients. My two favorites that keep me from exploring more of the menu are the fresh summer rolls with peanut sauce and the kale caesar salad. That salad is still my favorite vegan caesar I've ever had! If you are inclined to have an alcoholic beverage, I can absolutely recommend the avocado margarita, it is a delicious thing to cool down a hot summer day on the patio.
Be warned though, the portion sizes are enormous. I generally struggle to finish my main if we've also shared an appetizer (even though I order the half sized salad, it's big enough to fit into a mixing bowl). To avoid food waste, consider sharing items if you have a group with a mind to do so.
I will mention two things that make me hesitate to eat here instead of ordering on Postmates. First, every time I've been here I've had a rushed experience where staff have tried to usher me quickly into selecting food. If you're slammed, I get it, if not, please back off. Second, I feel the majority of people who eat here are not vegan. That's okay and encouraged, but you won't feel a sense of community here.
Pros: All vegan restaurant, Healthy options, Outdoor seating
Cons: Can get pricy, Huge portion sizes, Inconvenient location

Incredible flavors - Edit
I got the lentil walnut burger and it was the best veggie burger I’ve ever had! The coconut cheese was amazing! I also got the sweet potato fries and that lime salt was really a great touch. And that beet ketchup! Incredible!

The restaurant is dim lit with indie music and modern decor. The staff is extremely friendly, and the food is amazing!
Read moreAvocado toast: delicious with gluten free options and the pesto is made with hemp seeds (perfect with those with nut allergies)
Sweet potato fries: great; not super crispy as they aren’t super fried, which made them taste more fresh served with a sauce that has a nice kick to it
Pros: Amazing food, Beautiful decor, Very friendly staff
Cons: Restroom is outside the restaurant

Delicious vegan food - Edit
Food was delicious, specially kimchi rolls are very very good. Kale cesar salad felt a little greasy but fried chickpeas were very crunchy and nice. Best of all was passion fruit cheesecake, a bit pricey but very generous portions a absolutely delicious. My friend had another salad looked very good. She did have a misunderstanding with waitress who brought a full size salad when she ordered a half salad. But experience was positive overall.

I come here every time I’m in Nashville, sometimes more than once a day. I can’t get enough. This time I also brought three colleagues – all omnivores - and they were blown away.

What a treat! - Edit
The food was so fresh and incredibly delicious! We shared the Caesar salad with chickpeas, the fingerling potatoes over guacamole, and the kimchi spring rolls, which should not be missed. For dessert, we had the brownie that was topped with a delicious ganache and a scoop of cardamom and espresso ice cream. I absolutely will return!

Our favs while in Nashville! - Edit
Came last year and had amazing food. And this time another great experience 😻!! Totally different seasonal food than last time that we were here. You gotta try: kimchi wrap, avo toast, broccoli sub, zuchinni noodle. For dessert - scoops of their mango, orange and expresso gelato. Yum!!

Fancy, Healthy, Delicious - Edit
This isn't your average vegan restaurant. It is a dimly lit place, candles on your table, upscale place you'd take someone on a date when you want to impress them. The food is great, the bar has a good selection, the staff is very friendly, and it's an overall wonderful place for a meal. The food is instagram worthy plated, healthful, delicious, and overall just top notch in every way. It's not your standard "here's a veggie burger," wraps, or tofu dishes; you can tell that the menu has time, dedication, and work put into it. Note, the menu rotates seasonally as well, so you may not have the same choices when you come back a few months later

👌🏼 - Edit
such a cute & refreshing environment. i went with my mom & sister who both are not vegan, but they loved this place. our server was super friendly & open to conversation. i ordered the kale ceasar with roasted chickpeas & fingerling potatoes... the salad was to die for along with the potatoes. we tried the raspberry chzcake, that i absolutely loved. we couldn’t finish it so we brought it home for later. overall a 10/10 experience.

A great place to eat with friends or to eat alone. I loved the indoor/outdoor seating. I’m new to Nashville and have tried a couple of restaurants. This one stands out. Super friendly staff and the atmosphere is so welcoming. Lots of options in terms of the food. Most of the food is locally sourced. The Kimchi rolls are a must when you eat here. The burger is fantastic. You won’t be disappointed!

So Fun! - Edit
I am from a town that has zero all-vegan restaurants, so I was so excited to visit Avo while in Nashville. I was a bit overwhelmed (in a good way) by the totally vegan menu full of tasty options. I loved the avocado margarita and the cheese board. I ordered a raw entree and it was so delicious. I brought several non-vegans with me to dinner, and they were all blown away by the plant-based offerings. I can't wait to visit Avo again the next time I'm in Nashville.

I was in Nashville for a conference and found this little gem! A must visit for all vegans. Authentic vegan dishes and not the typical “comfort” food you find in Nashville. Will definitely visit when I return.

I discovered Avo on a business trip to Nashville. Our Uber driver told us about it and being a vegan I was excited to check it out. Since it was a Friday night it took a bit of time to get seated but we really enjoyed the food. I had the avocado toast, fingerling potatoes and my friend had the Ruben sandwich. My friend (who is not even vegan) said that if we go back to Nashville again next year she would like to go back to Avo again.
